Summary: A must read for Fantasy enthusists
Review: Beware! Once you start reading this book, you'll never be able to put it down. You'll find yourself inwrapped in a world vividly described and unlike any other. This is a must on any Fantasy reader's list

Summary: Excellently wrote. Robert Jordan is one of the best.
Review: The Eye of The World may be a long book, but it hooks you early, and doesn't let you go, even when the book is over. It made me go to my library and read the other seven books in the series including The great Hunt, The Dragon Reborn, The Shadow Rising, The Fires of Heaven, Lord of Chaos, A Crown of Swords, and the Path of Daggers, I can't wait for the ninth book. The charecters themselves are varied from those who you have to know what there next move is, to who want to, and will laugh at, to who you outright hate. I enjoyed The Eye of the World, I hope you do too.

Summary: Good Reading, Not Brlliant. Nowhere near tolkien
Review: I have so far read seven of the eight wheel of time books, and that alone shows that it's a very readable and enjoyable fantasy series. And yet, all the comparisions between master fantasy writers and Jordan do not fall in Jordan's side. Although his combat scenes are superb, and he can write good complicated plots, I was DISGUSTED by his handling of men and women, in an awkward attempt to be funny, men and women never understand each other, all women are manipulating, coy, and breast revealing. While the men are lost boys(in the eyes of the women) who need direction in every step. Get Real!!! All of his characters act exactly alike, it's like one character with multiple personality jumping around in the world and doing lots of things

Read it if you don't have anything better to read.

Summary: Impressive
Review: I'm always a major fan of Robert Jordan, and I beleive that this is one of his better books. With all around good plot, this book is self-sufficient. Addmittedly, there are a few weak points, but those are few, and involve the s of bad guys, a trivial matter. Though not the best book of the series, this is a great book. For readers of Terry Goodkind or JRR Tolkein, this series is a must.

Summary: This book rocks!!!
Review: The Wheel of Time is an incredible series and no fantasy fan should miss it. It really puts the reader into the world of Robert Jordan. Believe me. I was slipping in and out of Rand al'Thor charactor for weeks after reading it. Once I started to read it, I could not put it down. Best book I have ever read

Summary: The fanasty I have ever read
Review: This book is the best fanasty I have ever read and thats coming from someone who for the most part hates fanasty. Robert Jordan creates a vivid world where each word adds more life to the story. The story starts out a little slow so you should give it the 100 page test and not the 50. Once everything kicks off you can't put this book down. There is a lot of characterization and great descriptions throughout the book. My only negative comment would be that the end kind of lags and for the most part I found it very confusing. Never the less this is a great book and an even better series. Read It!

Summary: Farmboys make good.
Review: This is a story as old as time itself. A young man and his friends have thier whole world turned on end when they are thrust into the titanic battle between Light and Shadow. One of them is the prophesized Dragon Reborn, the one man who, wielding the terrible might of the One Power, is prophesized to save the world; yet at the same time destroy it. His fate, and the fate of the entire world, is inextricably woven together into the Pattern, yet the deciding moment of the Last Battle will prove who is stronger. Light or Shadow?

Summary: What Fantasy Readers Like to See
Review: The Eye of the World is the second best fantasy I've ever read, superseeded only by Tolkein. From the chilling Prologue to the slowly revealing intentions of Lan and Moiraine to the tour-de-force showdown at the Eye of the World, this book, with its amazing action sequences and fantastic realms, is a must-see for fantasy fans.
