Summary: In the Wake of Nancy Drew
Review: "The Haunting of Captain Snow" was a nostalgic trip back to my childhood when adventure, fun and discovery were kid powered and not battery operated. A true reflection of growing up in a less formidable period of time.

Summary: Not your usual shallow mystery!
Review: Haunting Of Captain Snow is second in the Eel Grass Girls mystery series; but no prior familiarity is required in order to enjoy and appreciate this latest. Four yacht club girls face a haunted house, a coven of witches, and a whole summer packed with supernatural overtones in the process of tackling a sea captain's secret, and his strange family's responses. Older YA readers recommended: the story is quite complex and involving; not your usual shallow mystery!

Summary: Really Amazing
Review: I have read The Haunting of Captain Snow twice, (actually the first time I read the manuscript). The book is really long, 330 pages and 84 chapters, but it's totally worth it to spend the time reading it! The book is about The Eel Grass Girls, (who else), in their pursue to find out what is haunting the old haunted house of Captian Snow. They come across a wicked coven of witches, a strange coyote, cold winds in the house, and many more stange and mysteryious things. The book is so long and has so many scary, fun and mysterious things in it that I can't mention everything, but I can say that this was one of the best books I have ever read and I recommend it to everyone.

Summary: In the Wake of Nancy Drew
Review: These mysteries definately have teeth. Plot lines are unpredicatable; readers will uncover clues with the Eel Grass Girls and work just as hard to figure out how the pieces fit together as the stories romp along, always engaging and often a bit frightening. Even adult readers will experience that rewarding "A-ha!" moment when all the facts fall into place.Heather

Review: This book is just like Chatham. The bar place is The squire!! Have you ever seen the real house thats on the cover? I have and it looks just like it!! This is better than the First!
