Summary: Dangerous Skies
Review: I liked the story because Staples has a unique writing style that is realistic and chilling at the same time. I did not like the ending because it had nothing to do with Buck and Tune's friendship.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Dangerous Skies
Review: I liked the writing and description. The author madethecharacters have a southern dialogue that is realistic. I thinkthat the beginning is dull but I kept on reading. The ending isn't as good as I think the author could write it... This story is about an african american 13-year old girl named Tunes. She lives in a small home with her father who works for Tune's best friend Buck Smith's dad. She is accused of murdering an hispanic worker, Jorge, who works for Jumbo Rawling s, a man who is well know in the conmunity. I think this taught me how racist people can be. I liked to read this book and that is why I gave it 4 stars.

Summary: Dangerous Skies
Review: I rate Dangerous Skies five stars out of five because it is an excellent book to read and it keeps you reading more. I liked this book very much because it had a lot of excitement and it made you want to read more to find out what would happen next. In this book there was a murder and everybody thought it was this girl so that kept me reading on to see if she really committed the crime or not. There is another book like this and it is called Haveli it is a little different but it has to do with a murder. Dangerous Skies is more exciting and has more adventure. In Dangerous Skies a black girl and her dad work on Buck Smith's farm. Her name is Tunes. It all started when Tunes and Buck were out fishing and in a boat when they were fishing and they spot a dead body floating along the shore of their property. Buck suspects that it is Jumbo but the landowner thinks it is Tunes since she is new. The adults can't help. While Buck is talking to Tunes Bucks finds something out that will turn everything around to figure out who killed the person that was floating in the lake

Summary: Dangerous Skies
Review: I rate this book 3 stars because I wanted to know some dicription about where Tunes and Buck live.

I disliked it because it had a lot of dialog. I learned that even if your best friend died or moved you should carry on with your life and move on! When you start a friendship you have to learn to forget about it!

The book is about two best friends and they loved fishing, but when Tunes or Buck was in the boat Tunes jumped out to see what it was he saw a body in the water. It was Jorge.

And that starts the mystery

I hope you like the Dangerous Skies book.

Summary: dangerous Skies
Review: I think the book Dangerous Skies is a pretty good book. I'd give it four stars because there was some good parts and some bad parts. My favorite charecter would probably be Buck because he kept on trying to prove Tunes wasn't guilty. At the start of the book I did not really get what the author was trying to tell me.
There were a couple of words and sentences that I could not understand. Is there going to be another book that says what happened to Tunes and Buck when they get older?
I recomend this book to people who like books that are adventures and sort of mysteries. I think this book is Like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in a way or two.

Summary: Dangerous Skies
Review: I thought that the book Dangerous Skies was a decent book. The author had twists and turns that made you keep reading. This book had me on the edge of my seat in tight situations. I especially like the character Jumbo Rawlin. In "Dangerous Skies" this man was an absolute bad guy. I gave this book 4 stars because it is very suspenseful but it also has a lot of boring dialogue. Over all I enjoyed reading this book.

Summary: Wonderful story about friendship, life, and changes.
Review: Stunning. One of the top 10 books I have ever read. The author writes it so that you can feel the characters emotions. The ending of the story really touched me. I find it hard to read books about changes. I sort of want things to always be the same. "I'd also lost the notion there was magic in the world. I guess you could say I'd lost my childhood," is in my opinion one of the saddest parts of the book. Also, the part where Kneebone tells Buck that the good times are gone forever and that things would never be the same between the two, and the part that Buck says that Obie lost his heart for the Bay. I could go on forever talking about how great this book is. Its a moving book and I would recommend everyone who needs a good story to read it.

Summary: THE MYSTERYS OF GROWNIG.
Review: The book is like a mystery. Buck and Tunes are best friends through out the story. In the book Tunes is blamed for a murder she didn't do. I think the book is boring in some parts. In other parts of the book it was excellent. The reason I gave this book five stars was the book was packed with action, betrayal, and emotion. I think the dialogue was a little boring but the rest was good. The bad guy in this story was Jumbo Rawlin. Jumbo Rawlin is a nasty character in the book. This book tells whats it's like to live near water.

Summary: Dangerous Skies
Review: The plot of the story is in the Chesapeake Bay.
It is around the 1700's at Virginia's eastern shore. The main characters are Buck and Tunes Smith. Buck's family used Tunes' dad (Kneebone) as a slave before she was born but was nice to him. Once Tunes was born Buck was born around the same time as she was. They became best friends until they found the dead body of one of theirs friends while they were out on the water some day in spring. Tunes ended up getting out of the boat since she saw the dead body. Buck pulled the body into shore and was questioned by the sheriff. Buck didn't want to get Tunes involved so he acted like she was never there when they found the dead body. Later in the story Buck told his dad the Tunes had been with him while on the water and his dad made him go back to Sheriff and tell him that Tunes was involved. They then convicted Tunes of the crime but there was a mean man that lived close to them. You will have to read the rest of the story to find out what happens next. I like this book because it was non stop action and there was a lot of friendship involved. This is one of the best books. I would give this book five out of five stars since it is fun and exciting.

Summary: Could be better
Review: The theme to this book is really good. The characters were interesting and the story was wonderful. The only problem was the author didn't write it as well as she could have. The writing made it kind of dull. People who aren't that interested in reading would probably just give up and stop reading the book. If she had wanted more people to read it she could have made it more interesting. Besides that the book was really good.
