Summary: GAIL CARSON LEVINE WHIPS OUT ANOTHER FANTASTIC STORY
Review: I have read everyone of Gail Carson Levine's books since Ella Enchanted came out. I've loved everyone of them to death, and they sit in a belove pile by my bed.
Ok, back to the point, I was browsing the isles of a bookstore when there it was- The two princesses of Bamarre, and I HADN'T READ IT! For the rest of the day I was glued to the couch, captivated by every word.
The two princesses of Bamarre is a story about Addie and Meryl, to sisters who are fiercly loyal to eachother, but different in every way. Meryl is shy, and likes safety. Addie wants to be in battle more than anything- I'm not going to tell you any more, but the ending is not going to be what you expect- I gaurentee it! Add this one to your summer reading list, and enjoy!

Summary: A story of love, loyalty, and enchantment--a fabulous read
Review: A deep and philosophical Levine weaves this enchanting tale of the two princesses of Bamarre; best friends and literary foils. As different as they are, they have formed the perfect sibling relationship in which they can work to together to use their strengths and weaknesses. Meryl, brave and adventurous, is the leader of the group and Addie is timid and kind one. But when the deadly grey death comes to grasp their homeland and claims Meryl's health, the shy and unobtrusive Addie is devastated and forces herself to find a cure while her sister becomes worse. Addie's adventures are original, exciting and will keep readers on their toes every moment.

This book is Levine at her very best. She combines love, romance, loyalty, and over-coming the fears we have to the ultimate level. This is one of the best books I have ever read, no question. -Lia

Summary: Levine does it again
Review: Gail Carson Levine has once again made magic with her captive storytelling in The Two Princesses of Bamarre. Harpercollins Juvenile Books(publisher) has right to be proud of this masterpiece...
I enjoyed this novel because the girls in it didn't stand around idly being, well, girly. The storyline I hate most is where one girl is beautiful and proud of it, while the ugly heroine wishes she were pretty to and ends up proving herself by killing a monster or performing some other sort of amazing feat. In this version, the brave and fair Princess Meryl plans to conquer all of the monsters in Bamarre and find the cure to a terrible disease called the Gray Death. Shy, less attractive Princess Addie's role in their plans is to fall sick with the Gray Death and for Meryl to find the cure just in time to save her. Things flip-flop when Meryl contracts the Gray Death and Addie is forced to fight gryphons, specters, dragons, and ogres on her way of finding the cure. The end is also different than most. et a copy of this book today. Not tomorrow, today.
The Two Princesses of Bamarre is a well-loved novel, not unlike many of Levine's other works. Get to the library today, and check out The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine copyrighted 2001 by Harpercollins Juvenile Books. Any fantasy lover will be entranced by this great tale of two sisters in ungainly circumstances.

Summary: Soul Sisters
Review: I think that Gail Carson Levine is a good author. Her books are really good. Especially 'The Two Princesses of Bamarre'. She has other good books such as The Wish, Ella Enchanted, The Fairy's Mistake, The Princess Test, etc.
This book is about two sisters who love each other. They can't get married to anyone unless Meryl the one sister gets to go on an adventure. Meryl comes down with a sickness. I can't tell you what it is called. Addie the other sister goes to look for the cure. What is it? Does she get the cure in time? Does her sister live or die? I can't tell you. You got to read the book first.Ha- Ha.
That's why I gave it 5 stars.

Summary: Dave at Night
Review: Dave at night by Gail Carson Levine takes place in the year 1926. Dave's father whom he loved very much is dead, and his cruel evil stepmother wants nothing to do with him. Dave is accepted nowhere except at the HHB (Hell Hole for Boys), however it is commonly known as the Hell Hole for Boys.
Though Dave may appear normal, he si anything but average. He's tough, a troublemaker, and has been taking care for himself for quite a while. If he doesn't like the situation he is in such as where he is living, then he will run away with no fear or worries in his mind. If only it were that simple...
This exciting novel is a journey of losses and triumphing over challenges. It also involves tragedy and cruel relations such as hideous souls, deceitfulness, and the kindness of strangers. After reading this book you will acquire the essence of the early 1900's and the poverty of New York's Lower East Side. With this you will follow Dave as he seeks adventure in the big city and finds his way to happiness. i thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and this enticing novel will definitely move you as you join Dave through all his challenges and conflicts.
