Summary: More then your run-of-the-mill fantasy
Review: This is a wonderful classic fantasy that will enthral readers as much(if not more) then Gail's other stories. Definately worth a read. A timid shy sister has to face her fears so she can save her dying sister. Trolls ,dragons, griffens ,specters, and more add colorful detail to this beautiful tale. Not to mention the love of a sorcerer, but don't think this is a fluff book. No, there's plenty of action to entertain the guys. Not to mention the ironic humor placed throughout the book that creates just the right balance of fear and humor. Definately a hiding-in-your-bed-with-a-flashlight-at-10o'clock-on-a-school-night-to-finish-the-last-page-book.

Summary: One of my favorite books
Review: I read Ella Enchanted a year or two ago (I don't keep track). I loved it. When I went to buy a new book I saw 'The Two Princesses of Bamarre' also by Gail Carson Levine. Once I started reading it, I immediatly fell in love with it and couldn't stop reading it! This book shows how even the cowardiest people can be couragous, too. It was almost my friends' birthday, and since she and I both love reading, I bought her The Two Princesses of Bamarre. She and I both think it's one of the best books ever written. So far, I've read this book 4 times and it never gets boring. That's how great this book is.

Review: This probably Gail Carson Levine's second best book! There are to princesses of Bamarre, Princess Addie who is frightend of everything, and Princess Meryl who wants to go off and go on adventures. When Meryl catches the Gray Death Princess had goes off in hope to find the cure. She finds many creatures and does many daring things that she couldn't beleive she was doing. A wonderful book with rich details. Children who liked Ella Enchanted should read this book.

Summary: The Two Bores of Bamarre
Review: Well, I read *Ella Enchanted* and I loved it very much. I heard about this book from a friend on day and I decided to buy it. To put it lightly, I didn't like it. Meryl was the stereotype princess: Oh, gosh, be a princess what a bore! I want to go be the heroine! And then there was the main character: Oh, I don't want to! I'm even afraid of spiders! -Oh please!- I kept thinking. And then there was that interesting love between the wizard and the main character. It was to put it nicely- bland and stupid, not like the Char and Ella romance. The characters were very forgettable. Borrow it from the libray, don't waste your money.

Summary: A Story Worth Reading
Review: My book club picked out this book, I read it, and I thought it was pretty good. It's about two princesses, one king, a sorcerer, a dragon, and last, but not least, Drualt. Addie, one of the two princesses, was afraid of just about everything, but she wanted to see a fairy. Meryl, the other princess, wanted to seek out the cure for Gray Death, but she got it instead. I'm a boy, and I thought it was a good story. My favorite character was Drualt because he was called the laugher and I like to laugh at people when they're being silly. Although Drualt and I laugh for different reasons, we both like to laugh. There was a lot of great action in the story. On Addie's journey to find the cure for the Gray Death she receives things from her friends and family like a magic tablecloth, two maps, magic boots, and Blood Biter, a sword, to help her on her journey. This story will keep you interested because you will want to find out what will happen to Addy. If you want to find out more, then you'll need to read the book.

Review: This book is an excellent way to combine fiction w/ fantasy. I am a total romance fan (but not REALLY mushy stuff) and I love a good story mixed w/ a little romance. This book is a must have!

Summary: A Great Fantasy Tale
Review: This is a great book. The book is about two princesses, different as day and night. Meryl is the bold and brave one. Addie (Adelina) is shy and scared of everything. But then disaster strikes and Meryl contracts the Gray Death that killed their mother when they were younger and Addie's chambermaid. Addie, scared, sets out to find the cure with help from her governess and elf nurse and Rhys, the apprentice sorcerer that she secretly likes. Also, with the help of a hero that lived centuries ago and fought the monesters of her kingdom, she manages to find bravery she never knew she had. She encounters ogres, specters, gryphons, and even the dragon Volly. She manages to get find out the cure by the dragon, but shes trapped in her lair! She manages to escape and rushes to her sister which only has one night left to live. With a twist in the end and a decleration of love, will the sisters survive? What will happen to the kingdom? What will happen to the dragon? Will the hero that promised his return centuries ago return? What will happen to Addie and Rhys? So many questions! If you really want to know the answer to these questions you have to read the book! Don't skip to the back, trust me you will not understand it all. Read the book! Its all worth it :D

Summary: one great book to try out
Review: I first read ella enchanted, THEN this book. both i borrowed from my friend, and both are truly great! and i mean it. Gail Levine had did one good creation that really impress me.
basically the book tells us about two princesses that have two really really different characteristics. so different that i see Addie(the little one), as one coward girl. Shes sooo afraid of spiders. save me! But then, her sister (meryl, my best character in the book. the strong girl) caught the gray death, a sickness that kills. so, addie have no choice but to travel (knowing that it brought dangerous on the way)and find the cure. as the story goes on, addie's mold into one strong girl, and finally she have the guts to defeat ogres dragons, etc. So she became my 2nd favourite character in the book. The book just brings you into one other world and spin you in it. giving vivid character and settings, this book have the ability to do that. seriously! +, it tells about rhys the sorcerer that addie falls in love with. It is soooo romantic. especially the part when rhys and addie was going to the river where her sis.... oups, i spoiled too much story. Just read it by yourself...! its soooooo good. it has a really good ending, yet we never expect, but still a happy ending. so go check it out. !!
