Summary: Found at long last!
Review: I read this book years ago and have been looking for it ever since. I remember it being a very adventerous story. Well, I have finally found it and I look forward to reading it again.

Summary: Good start to the Sunfire series
Review: I read this one long ago, and in my opinion, it remains one of the most well-crafted Sunfires. Amanda is a believable heroine, and the historical details are interesting.

Summary: I thought the book was excellent!!!!
Review: I thought the book was great so deteailed and always making you anxious and sitting on the tip of your chair. I'm 13 and to get me to sit and read a book is tough but when I read Amanda I couldn't put it down. It's exciting, romantic, and adventures. I enjoyed this book so well I went and got more. Thank you for putting your time into writting exciting books and I hope you keep writting! Sincerly yours, Nichole Otto

Summary: Amanda
Review: I would suggest this to anyone. Even if they don't like romantic books, it has a good message. When I first started the book I was excited because I'd read the reviews and everything and it sounded really good. But in the beginning, I found, it was a little slow moving, I was kind of disappointed. She did a lot of reminiscing, and stuff like that. But I stuck with it, and I found it was well worth the wait! Toward the end she is a spirited girl, who could pull her own weight. It was interesting to see how her strength matured throughout her journey. I would suggest this, or any other sunfire book, to anyone.

Summary: simply a great book
Review: I've made it a mission in my life to read as many Sunfire books as possible. I started reading them when I was in my teens, and I practically carried them everywhere! The first one I read was Josie, but Amanda is one of my all time favorites! It's too bad that I didn't collect them when I was growing up, since the books have become a big part of my childhood. If this book has interested others, I suggest reading a more "grown-up" novel titled, "Rebecca".

Summary: Cool book!
Review: This book is about a teenage girl named Amanda. Her father, a widower, has gotten into trouble, and he and Amanda must quickly leave Boston. Amanda's father decides that they will travel west on the Oregon Trail. At the begining of the book, Amanda is a spoiled city girl, but by the end of the trail, she has become a strong young women, and discovered the love of her life.

Summary: A wonderful book that's very well written!
Review: This book was very enjoyable! It's about Amanda and how she starts off as a spoiled rich girl but then turns into a tough young women by the end. I've read this book at least four times and I've always loved it each time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great great book
Review: This was my first Sunfire book, and though I don't remember where I picked it up, I'm very glad that I did! Amanda is certainly a well created character. Though the storyline is a bit cliche, in which the spoiled girl grows up during hardship, it is written well enough to be convincing, as is the romance between Amanda and Ben. This is certainly one of the best and most thoroughly developed stories in the series. One of the best aspects of the book is that there are many great things in here besides just the romance.

Summary: The Best Sunfire!
Review: This was one of my favorite Sunfires! It starts out sort of stupid, but as you go it gets better and better! I have found that many of the Sunfire books are boring because the heroines are dull and predictable, but not this one! Amanda has lots of personality, and proves just how strong she is. I reccommend this to anyone that likes to read.
