Rating: Summary: full gallop Review: this was a very good book. I would definitely reccomend reading this book. I liked what it was about. I really like the Pine Hollow series, especially the newer books, they are the best of them all.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Pine Hollow Book Review: This was by far the best Pine Hollow book. It was very suspencful and sad too. The end of the book has a suprise trist that you won't expect but I won't tell you about that....! Callie finally gets to start serious training with Scooby, and Stevie takes up eventing and is very excited about it. Pine Hollow gets a very snotty new boarder, could she be the new Veronica? Lisa is still batteling her problem with Scott because he's so social. Carole and Ben are training Jinx too! I won't tell you everything that happens, but I would highley reccomend this book to anyone!
Rating: Summary: Great Book, hope its not the last Review: This was really good book, and a very sad ending. For all of you out there who are wondering if it is the last book, today (May 2nd, 2001) I called many book stores and asked if they had the names of books she had written but are yet to be published. Right now, there aren't any Pine Hollow books in the line of publishing. I am going to write a letter to the publishing company, and maybe get some info there. I'll be as sad as you to see this series come to an end! I hope it doesn't.
Rating: Summary: I can't believe this is the end!!!! Review: This was such a good book! Probably the best in the entire series!! It told what was happening with Carole and Ben, who are finally going out, Lisa and Scott, and I think it was so cool that Stevie was getting into eventing!! The ending is sooo sad but it really makes you think. I am SO MAD that this is the end!! I had been reading the saddle club since 2nd grade, and have read every single book, and the Pine Hollow when it came out-I feel as if Stevie, Lisa, and Carole are all part of my life and I want to know what happens next!!!!!! I wish Bonnie Bryant would realize how much everyone loves these books and would continue them, or even bring in a new author! they are too good to be finished!
Rating: Summary: The best Pine Hollow book so far Review: This was the BEST Pine Hollow book so far. For the first time, everyone (even Callie!) is pretty much happy about their life. And Stevie and Callie ride their horses more than they have in other books. But I don't like the fact that Carole spends NO time with Starlight; she just does all these stable chores. I REALLY hope this isn't the last book in the series because: 1. I want to find out if all the horses are OK, 2. I want to see how Stevie & Belle do at eventing, 3. I want to see Callie enter a race, and 4. I want to see Maureen finally get busted for smoking. But in conclusion, this is a really good book, but don't read the ending first, and don't read it before the other books! Don't spoil it!
Rating: Summary: Over The Top Review: Thrilling! Surprising! Wonderful!! Bonnie Bryant goes over the top with this book. Carole is dating Ben! Perfect Match!! Lisa's going out with the sentors son. Might Work!! Stevie of course as Phil!!! True Love!!! And then to add to all that horses horses horses!!! Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: what happened? Review: What happened to the rest of these books? Why isn't Bonnie Bryant writing them anymore? Well, they were really, really good. Hope you come back, Bonnie Bryant.
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: WOW!! the Pine Hollow series was great, but i can't believe this was the last book, she shouldn't stop there, i want to know what happens with carol and ben, and lisa and scott! i just started reading the book a few weeks ago, and i've been hooked! but y stop now she could make lots of money off of them. Full Gallop was awsome and as a horseback rider myself the information was all correct. they were the best books! WOW!!
Rating: Summary: Full Gallop to --- Where? Review: Years ago I bought the Saddle Club books for my niece and got hooked myself on the great writing and equestrian information. Though she went on to other things, I continued to buy the Saddle Club and later Pine Hollow series and have learned things I didn't know about horses, even though I have been riding for over 40 years. I also enjoyed the way Bonnie Bryant writes for kids and teens. Pine Hollow took the Saddle Club to new areas of interest, both filling out the characters' lives and in new areas of riding. Ms. Bryant certainly kept to her theme of "actions have consequences" in the Pine Hollow series! Unlike most of the other reviewers, I don't think Ms. Bryant tied up most of the loose ends but set off an entirely new series of starting points. Where is the Saddle Club going to go now? If Ms. Bryant reads this, I hope she will be inspired to continue writing the Pine Hollow books. I noticed that Saddle Club is coming up on the 100th story. Does she plan to continue that, too? Amazon.com would do its readers a great service if some form of communication with Ms. Bryant or the publishers were set up to answer the questions of her readers. Meanwhile, to all you readers, don't forget that Max's daughter is the fourth "Max" Regnery and surely Ms. Bryant won't leave her without a heritage.
