Rating: Summary: FILL IN THE BLANK Review: I REALLY LIKE THE FRIENDSHIP SERIES! IT'S AWESOME! AND I LUV HOW EACH CHARACTER DOES LIKE A PREVIEW OF THINGS FROM THE BOOK BEFORE, TO SHOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED, JUST SO WE WOULDN'T JUST FAVOR ONE CHARACTER. BUT IN TOMMY'S, I WISH HE PICKED UP A LITTLE LATER AND FOLLOWED UP 'POPULARITY CONTEST' BECAUSE TOMMY'S BOOK JUST WENT BACK TO THE BEGINNING AND WE'RE WAY FURTHER THAN THAT.
Rating: Summary: Awesome!! Review: I think this book is awesome but why doesnt't Rachel Vail write anymore Friendship Ring books? Disappointing...
Rating: Summary: Friendship ring... perfect! Review: If you have read any of the friendship ring books you know this is an excellent book. Fill in the Blank is Tommy Levit's side of the story. The friendship ring books fallow the first several weeks of 7th grade; of Zoe Grandon, CJ Hurley, Morgan, Olivia, and now Tommy. These book's reflect the true meanings of friendship, love, truth, and understanding. Honestly, I felt these books were the real thing, they expressed all the emotions that happen to girls and boys during the seventh grade! Yet, this is the first book from Tommy's point of view, he shares a true enlighting side. Without this book, the series would be at a loss. If you want to read a book that will stay with you for the rest of you life, read Fill in the Blank! All read the rest of the friendship ring! This was an all time favorite book of my whole classroom.
Rating: Summary: Rachel Vail Is An Awesome Author Review: In Fill the Blank(book 6), it follows up on Zoe's story If You Only Knew(book 1)and tells from Tommy's side. Lots of the things Zoe assume he is doing, are actually completly different(like he can't look at her, she assumes it's 'whaddya want?')and vice versa. Lots of stuff is explained, like the truce they make in the cafeteria, and why Zoe had stitches taken from her chin. It's a great book, and I hope that the seventh book is completly different. like CJ's view on a new problem. Let's move on, people's!
Rating: Summary: Good but could have been better....... Review: Overall this was a great book and Rachel Vail is a great author. But it didn't follow up with the last book which stated a new story. It followed up on the first story mainly Zoe's first story. But I have been waiting for a book from Tommy's point of view and it was good. I would probably recommed this book.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Book Review: This book is about a guy named Tommy who realizes he's losing his good friend, Zoe, to the girly side of seventh grade. Tommy has to deal with friends, his family and Zoe's many changes. I've read this book several times because I love it so much. I was reading the reviews and a many people said that they disliked the fact that it was the same basic story as Zoe's book, but I think it's great that Vail went back so that we could see Tommy's side of the story! The way he sees things is important, because then we know if what Zoe assumed was right or wrong. This is a terrific book for all pre-teens. Expect tears, laughs and great reading!
Rating: Summary: ~*Fill in the Blank Series The Friendship Ring Tommy*~ Review: Tommy is a 12 year old boy who is just entering 7th grade. Zoe, his best friend, and Tommy have been friends since elementary school. Tommy thinks of Zoe as just one of the guys. She wears long, baggy sweatshirts and, well, just looks like one of the guys. She loved to play sports with the guyts, and crack jokes on them! Tommy shows up on the bus one day to find Zoe in a tight shirt and small jeans. For once, shje actually looks like a girl. Tommy always knew Zoe, but just didnt realize how much until then. This is the first book I've read in the Fill in the Blank Series. Rachel Vail is a tremendous author. The one thing I don't like about this seires is that the first four books were silimar to this one because they are told by different people. I guess since this is the first book I've read, I like this one the best. Tommy is a good-looking guy, and very athletic. He participates in a lot of sports ranging from soccer to football. I recommend that if you are in Middle School and like to read books like The Fill in the Blank Series, purchase this book and enjoy! Rachel Vail, if you ever reads this......continue writing these wonderful books!
