Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Can't wait for the sequel Review: The Insiders is definitely one of my highly recommended novels. I love reading the Gossip Girl series and The A-List novels, but those are mainly about the girls in NYC and L.A.. The Insiders gives you a different glimpse of a guy's life in NYC.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Confusing but Micky will make you want to finish the book Review: The Insiders is kind of confusing in the beginning. The views kept switching around from one person to another and they didnt describe the characters very well. It was just boringly put. Like one guy was a sensitive jock, another a player, one a crazy dare devil whos head-over-heels in love with his girlfriend, and another one who was the glue of the group who "held them together". There was another character, Patch who wasnt introduced really until the end and he was described as some cookoo who always forgot things and ran off and wouldnt remember that he was even lost in the first place. The other characters were really weird too. J.Minton didnt put enough descriptions to get a picture in my mind of what the characters looked like. Like how old they were for one thing. If Flan was 13 or 14, how old was jonathon? and how old was Kelli anyways? In the beginning, it said she was older then jonathon but somewhere towards the end, it said that she was his little cousin. So I was a bit confused about that. The only funny parts were the comments and actions of Micky who i loved the best. He was the only one that made me keep wanting to read the book. I bought both part 1 and 2 of the insiders so i have no choice but to go ahead and read it. If i were you, borrow it instead of buying it, maybe from a friend who was dumb enough to buy it or from a library.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: AWESOME BOOK! Review: The Insiders is the best book I've read in a long time. I really loved it. This book and The Au Pairs by Melissa de la Cruz were both given to me and they are so awesome. If you like Gossip Girl (and even if you don't) you will love these books!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Confessions of an insider Review: This book is basically about a group of rich NY guys: Jonathan, Arno, Micheal, David and Patch. More like a Gossip Girl in a Boy's point of view. I was excited in starting this book. I found myself laughing in no time. It was hilarious. But later in the middle, i was rather disappointed. The character build-up was slow and the plot's a bit shallow. But near the ending, things were heating up and the characters were explained. So in conclusion... it's not a must-read but a great book if you're in your bikini, sunbathing in the beach.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: you should read this! Review: This book is great! I read gossip girl, and this was way better! It totally felt like reading about me and my friends and people we know. All my friends are reading it now. This would make a really good tv show! There's not much good stuff written about kids here in NYC so it was cool to read about stuff in my town.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Fall In Love With The Insiders! Review: This great book about spoiled, hot, goergous, insanly rich (and yet still very nice) guys has been a long time coming! I mean we have Gossip Girl which is AWSOME, but what about the dudes? Well in this new series you'll get to know the five hottest guys in NYC! Meet Micky: The sweet and quite possibly insane Romeo of the group, who will do anything to impress his Juliet (like falling off a roof maybe?) David: The sensitive jock. Arno: the quote "Sluty stud." Patch: The cool laid back guy in the group, so laid back he's MIA -missing in action-. And Jonathan: The glue that holds the group together... THE INSIDERS. Oh and there's Kelli: Jonathan's skanky, and DEFINITELY insane cousin who won't stop until she has NYC falling at her feet. GREAT BOOK AND WAITING IN SUCH ANTICIPATION FOR NUMBER TWO!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great for GG novels Review: This is a must read book if you loved Gossip Girl and/or The A-list. I love Gossip Girl so much, I have all the books. I picked this book up because I saw it in a magazine, and I don't regret it. It is more the boy's point of view, but girls will love it to. I recommend it.
