Summary: Nancy Drew...where are you?
Review: Anyone who has read the orginal Nancy Drew mysteries will be disappointed by this novel. This "Barbie" doll version of the our favourite detective is more focused on her appearance, boys, and partying than solving the case or helping others. Personally, I DO NOT want my children reading this novel and would prefer them to become familiar with the old Nancy...an inspirational and intelligent woman not the materialistic, immature, self-conscious clothes horse featured in this novel.

Summary: Secrets CAN Kill
Review: I liked this book. I finished it in one day but it was a little weird since I played the game first. Nancy has to go back to high school, posing as a new student, to investigate vandalism, robberies, ect. But then her case moves on to murder. And things get even more tricky when Brenda Carlton wants the scoop on the case and threatens to blow Nancy's cover. She finds out everyone has a secret, even the ones she should be able to trust the most.

Review: She's on the case and it's all going well until the prime suspect on her list takes the plunge off right off, when he dies. Nancy Drew the amazingly- gorgeous- crime- fighting- teenage detective has taken up another disguise. This time she is a student at Bedford High. The case looks like a breeze, plus she's unfortunately stuck with a maigor hunk as her contact. Well Ned,her boyfriend back home doesn't have to know about this little rendeivous, but maybe Nancy is starting to sink, can she really trust any of them after seeing the evidence she finds? You decide!

Summary: There was a secret crush but it wasn't Ned.
Review: The new case Nancy is working on will test her love for Ned and vis versa. You see Nancy goes back to school to solve a robbery slash vandalism case. None the less she finds more than she bargained for. A quick flick with a gorgeous senior named Daryl Gray and a near death car crash. She is spied on, threatened, chased and almost loses the one thing she cares about the most, Ned. Nancy finds high school a little different from when she first attended. The plot was excellent. I liked the whole going back to school idea and thought it had some reality to it. The descriptions Carolyn Keene gave of students harrassing other students with incriminating evidence was real close to our everyday school life. I liked some parts of this book. Ididn't like the new fasination that was brought into the story line, Daryl. He and Nancy got a little too close, causing the all too close near break up of Ned and Nancy. They made up of course after Nancy discovered a secret (to find out what secret you'll have to read the book). They will probably have some trust problems for a while but they will manage somehow. You have to read this book for the full effect.
