Summary: BABY GIRL RULES!
Review: MY SISTER LET ME READ THIS BOOK. SHE'S IN HIGH SCHOOL AND I'M IN SEVENTH GRADE. SHE LOVED IT AND SO DID I. MY MOTHER IS GOING TO READ IT NEXT. TERRIBLE THINGS HAPPEN TO BABY GIRLS BUT SHE JUST ROCKS ON. IF I HAD TO MOVE TO A NEW SCHOOL OR HAD A DAD LIKE HERS, SHE'D BE MY MODEL FOR HOW TO SURVIVE. SHE'S COOL LIKE MY SISTER. SHE RULES!

Summary: Better Than Judy Blume.
Review: Susanna Vance is my favorite new writer. This story should be made into a movie with Macy Gray playing Selda, my favorite character. The book had suspense and every new scene was made real and important.

Summary: Very funny!
Review: This is a funny book, but sad and harsh as well. The kids in my english class all had to read it, but we loved it any way.

Summary: Voted BEST BOOK at our high school.
Review: This is the best book of the year! I go to a big high school and almost everyone I know goes around quoting Baby Girl or Selda. It was voted BEST BOOK. The eleven year old kid who didn't get "Sights", shouldn't have! It's not for eleven year olds, it's for and about TEENAGERS! As Baby Girl says it is "to the point"!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: SIGHTS: special insights.
Review: This writer has brilliantly found her way into the workings of a teenage mind. The heroine, Baby-girl, manages to be wickedly sharp and yet uplifting. Sights is a book to give to any young girl or young woman, to help her find her way.
