Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Holes Review: Stanley is the main character of the book Holes. He is accused of stealing a pair of shoes. For his punishment he has to go to Camp Green Lake. The camp was supposed to build character. I thought it was just a way to get rid of bad kids. By sending kids to Camp Green Lake people didn't have to worry about them getting into trouble. I highly recommend this book. There is a lot of drama and Stanley is very self conscious in this story. He battles a lot of stuff including the staff at Camp Green Lake, yellow spotted lizards and himself. As you can tell this book is very interesting. I thought it was a good book and I would like to read it again.

With over two-hundred pages of storyline this book thrills you from the moment you pick it up. It's a story of crime and love in which they both intertwine. If you read this book there is no reason why you shouldn't love it.The story starts when a boy named Stanley Yelnats is blamed for a crime he didn't commit. Therefor he gets sent to "CAMP GREEN LAKE". But once he gets there he realizes he's not in the girl scouts any more. Through reading this book you will learn about about trust and how stanley survives boot camp through pain and suffering just how he continues on and how justice does provale. At the end you find out the truth, and how the story intertwines in a way you would never believe. Holes is one of the best books you will ever read, so read and be amazed. BY:JONAH SCHMELLING
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Holes Review: The book Holes is a well written fiction book by Louis Sachar. The book was all right exept the part about his great great grampa. I enjoyed reading the book with my class, I disliked the extra work after reading. The story made little sense in the start to me but it all changed by the end of the book. It also got more interesting, for example when Stanley and Zero ran away from Camp Green Lake. I also liked the happy ending.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Holes Review: I did not like this book,Holes. There were not enough chapters and the chapters were too short. The plot was too easy to figure out. It was a total downer. I normally never put a book down but I did not want to go to it. The end with the advertisement for the sploosh, in my opinion, was the worst part of the book. I don't get why someone would get the name Caveman? And they go back and forth beteween plots. They go between the plot with Sam "The Onion Man" and Kate Barlow and back to the plot with Stanley and Zero and the rest of the people.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Holes Review: I am a student at Waldron Mercy Academy (I.F.G.) Holes takes place in the middle of the desert. The desert is were you meet Stanley, the main character. Stanley is a round boy, with a pale body. The police transported him to a camp in middle of the desert. This camp is no summer vacation. This camp is for bad kids doing awful actions. His mother, THINKING he stole a pair of rare sneakers, forces Stanley there. At the camp, Stanley meets a lot of friends, one of them was named Zero. Through the book, Stanley teaches Zero how to read and write, though near the end, Stanley finds out Zero has a connection with Stanley's wrong act, but how? Read this imagitive book to find out much, much more. If you like a little mix between comedy and action, this is a required book to read.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Holes Review: I am a 5th grade student at Waldron mercy Academy. (A.E.W.) I think Holes is a bad book because there are two stories going on at once. I did not have a problem keeping up with the 2 stories, I just think they were badly written as stories that are supposed to go together. Summery A kid named Stanley is sent to a crazy camp for stealing. He is liked a lot by his bunk members. When he told his new friends why he was there one of them flinched and another winced. Does another kid's crime connect to Stanley's? How will he survive? I personally think Louis Sachar could have done a better job in writing this book. I also think he was just being lazy and having fun with this book and not really writing it.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Holes is the worst book I've ever read! Review: I am a student at Waldron Mercy Academy (ACLJ). This book is about a 10 year old boy called Stanley Yelnats who goes to a boot camp called Camp Green Lake. This boy got sent to this boot camp because he stole a famous baseball player's shoe. There was 5 tents(A,B,C,D,E) and no lake. Stanley was sent to tent D. At their tent the kids had nicknames. His nickname was Caveman. They had a conselor named Mom. And a boy named Zero. They dug holes 5 feet deep, 5 feet long. There was another story about Stanley's rotten, pig-stealing, no good grandfather. He wanted to marry a women. So he stole Madame Zeroni's pig but the other guy got a fatter pig and married the women. But Stanley finds out that Zero's real name is Hector Zeroni. And then the boot camp shuts down and Hector goes home with Stanley. Even though it sound like I liked the book I really hated it.
