Review: I think Holes was a great book because it's a story within a story within a story.Another thing I like about Holes is we never found out what happened in the end.And I like that Stanley blamed everything on his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather.

Summary: Why you should read Holes!
Review: Holes was a great book. It was so exciting and interesting. Some strong points are that the things from Elya's world come into Kate's world and then to Stanley's world. The book had various cliff hangers which made it interesting and fun to read. There are lots of fun names for characters, like Barfbag. So thats why I think you should read Holes.

Summary: Simply Perfect-By...
Review: Holes is an amazingly clever book with surprises in every corner. At the end you're wondering who's related to who and what belongs to who. Being a long book, it is only fair to praise the point that it never bores you. Wanting to be a writer/literature teacher myself, it was quite an experience to read Holes. Except for some open ends, this book is literaly perfect.
There are three main parts, or settings, of Holes that are all full of riviting tales of sad souls searching for the truth, and the past. The first setting is Elya's world, where Elyas' love for Myra Menke is defeated by Myras' Fathers' love for profit. My personal favorite setting, the world of "K. K. B.," is a story of two lovers, love's strength, and the strong revenge of true love. In the final, present-time setting, a young, mentally abused boy named Stanley faces his ancestors'problems, and some of his own.
I suggest you start reading reading reading. Vacancies don't last long at Camp Green Lake...or the library shelf.

Review: Holes is an extrodinary book.Sachar, I think has his own style of writing. He tends to use the number three very often.Stanley has been hit with a flying pair of sneakers and has been sent to a camp for bad boys. Vacancies dont last long at Camp Green Lake! You will have fun with this andventure of a book.

Review: I could go on and on about Holes, but I'm gonna spare you. Instead here are a few short paragraphs that briefly explain my thoughts, fellings and views towards Holes.
Holes is creative, exciting, suspenseful, climactic, really all that you would want in a book. The main character, Stanley is convicted of a crime and sentm to a camp for "BAD BOYS". However, Stanley is innocent of said crime. The book is about his adventures in the barren wasteland where the camp is located.
The ending was great, really Surprising! My favorite character is Kissin-Kate Barlow. She is wild, crazy, and spontaniuous.
Be carefull though you are not traveling to a "Girl-Scout Camp." And if you ever wonder who that is in the story remember "It ain't Girl-Scouts sellin' cookies!"
Have fun and a great read!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Kyle ... Review for Holes
Review: Holes is a great book, so good that I have read it twice.Louis
Sachar uses great detail in depicting the scenes. He has a great
beginning and a great middle because in the middle all the questions that you have in the beginning are answered. The end isn't too great though because he leaves you hanging with a lot of
questions, and for people who don't like books where it leaves you hanging I suggest that you don't read it. This book was so good, I want them to make a second one.I would recommend this book
for kids aging from 9-12.

Summary: My Review by Sponge Bob
Review: Holes is a good book. I liked how Sachar gave much detail to the characters at camp green lake. My favirote character was the main chacter, Stanley. The story waslittle confusing when sachar went from world to world. I liked how Mr.Sir has a saying "This isn't the girl scouts". I liked how holes was a story, within a story, within a story. I would rate holes a 10 on a scale from 1-10.
