Also, all throughout each world Sachar talked about the people they knew that also affected Stanley IV. Since there was a story within a story within a story it helped explain a lot of things that happened after them that explains what happens to Stanley. Although it was confusing about Sachar changing the world so fast, but it all ties together at the end. Holes by Louis Sachar is a great book in my opinion that has lots of adventures in it. I think everybody should read this book.

A story within a story within a story is what the whole book is about. I really liked how Sachar put so many stories into one book, which in the end came together. The actual plot I felt could have been better because the story was really strange and weird-- you'll see why when you read it. Later on, you'll meet a one legged Gypsy and many secrets will be revealed.

Once you thought you knew what was gonna happen next, it rolls off course leaving you to a fresh new start. You'll find surprises in every page and during the way, Stanley is off to fulfill his quest. A quest that clings onto him, destined for him to accomplish it. You may find more than one quest thoughout the book while Stanley takes you to a exiting adventure filled with happy moments, misery, and danger. One thing you'll ponder is: Is it coincidence or destiny? Maybe it was destiny that Stanley was sent to a camp of bad boys for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Or was it?
