Review: Holes is a great book.Stanley Yelants family is cursed.They think the reason cause of there no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather.Stenley is conviced for stealing shoes. So he goes to court he is found guilty.The ask him etiher Camp Green Lake or jail. He says camp because he has never been to a camp but,he is in for rude of awkening.

Review: I really enjoy this book. The characters names are wierd like caveman,zero and,armpit.Caveman is stanley yelnutas that is who the story is about. Stanley gets in trouble for something he didn't even do. So he has to go to Camp Green Lake he thought is it was like a real camp like when u go on trips and play games.But he found out that it is was for the kids. Then he found out that they had to dig 5 foot deep holes and 5 feet wide. you should get this book or check it out at your libary.

Review: Attention people of all ages. If you like adventorious stories this is a story for you. This is about a boy that is going to Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake is a place were bad children go if they get arrested and have to dig holes. He meets many friends and they have great adventures. The main charactor of the book is Stanley, he goes to Camp Green Lake because he was accused to stealing a pair a shoes. As you read the book you come more and more eager to finish. I do not want to tell you the ending but if you like the book, It will be coming out in theaters in April 2003. A must read and a must see!!!

Review: I think Holes was a wonderful book! The characters are well thought up. Louis Sachar did an excellent job on this story. This story is about Stanley Yelnants who is sent to Camp Green Lake for stealing a pair of famous baseball shoes. While Stanley is at Camp Green Lake he is forced to dig holes like all the other boys there. After awhile Stanley begins to think maybe they aren't just being punished. Maybe they are doing the Warden's dirty work. So when Stanley's friend, Zero, runs away he decides, a few days laters, maybe Zero might still be alive and he should go after him. Well, I can't give too much away or it will ruin it but I'll tell you if you like suspenceful or mystery books this book is for you. I hope you like it as much as I did!

Review: Summer camp is supposed to be a fun place for kids,not in Stanley yelnuts case. Camp Green Lake is a camp for bad boys,Stanley was there because he stole a pair of shoes from clide livingston. At camp Green Lake the boys there have to dig holes for there punishment. The bad thing about camp Green Lake was that there is no water anywhere accept for at the camp. The worst animal at the camp was a yellow spotted lizard. If you havent read this book check it out!!!!

Review: Holes is one of those books you can get a good laugh off of and make you thank what will happen next.I love this book if you don't then were have you been for the last 9 years like donny from Californio I got this to say wake up smell the VA WAY and take your CA weak old trash talk somewere eles KID! Review: Perhaps some people think this book is stupid, but there will always be someone to hate a book, and some who love them! I love this book, I had to buy a few copies after read it in my classroom. This book is one of the most enjoyible books I've ever read, and I'm not being soft when I give it 5 stars.

Review: In Sachar's book, Holes, he carries 2 storylines throughout the book. One line is that of the main character, Stanley, wrongly accused and incarcerated at a youth offender camp, and that of the outlaw Kate Barlow and the man she loved, Sam. These two storylines intertwine and eventually converge in a quirky, clever way. Sachar creates an outcast adolescent who eventually changes the luck of his entire family by caring to help someone else more than himself.
