Summary: Fabulous
Review: "Holes" is one of the few Y/A books that has lived up to its hype. (And, as a screenwriter, may I also applaud the film version....one of the best films made from a book I've ever had the pleasure of seeing!)

With its circular plot and awesome characters, "Holes" is a fulfilling read. With a wonderful message about tolerance, Louis Sachar has created a classic!

Review: This book is so awesome. I love how in the end, EVERYTHING just sort of connects one way or another. The connections are unbeilievable, and Louis Sacher did a wonder ful job!

Summary: Mega Holes!
Review: My name is Matthew and I am in the 4th grade. I had to read holes for a book club assignment. Lots of people told me that it was a good book before I read it. The book was much better than I thought it would be. It was the best book I've ever read. It is the only chapter book that I've liked. You should read this book because you will get 'stuck' in it. It is awesome! It is sweet!

Stanley gets sent to Camp Green Lake for stealing a pair of sneakers. The camp is a place for bad boys. At camp, Stanley has to dig holes that are as deep and wide as his shovel. None of the boys know why they are digging the holes. The camp warden is always mad at the boys because they are not digging fast enough for her. There is a reason for the holes but I don't want to tell you because it will ruin the story for you.

Stanley makes a new friend at the camp. His name is Zero. Zero doesn't know how to read or write. Stanley tries to teach him.
