Summary: One of Sachar's best!
Review: Louis Sacher os known for hios witty and glamourous books, but this is his best yet! The characters are developed with ease, and the plot is amazing! Don't hesitate to read! This is a page turner!

Summary: This is about a boy who goes to Camp Green Lake.
Review: Holes is a great book! The plot is interesting, and mysterious. What will become of Caveman, and Zero? Will they become better children? Will they survive Camp Green Lake, and the warden? This book is about a boy, who is guilty of committing a crime, he goes to Camp Green Lake, where he digs holes, hopefully to become a better person. But does he?

Summary: Way cool book!
Review: In this book, there is suspence, danger, and a lesson. The suspence is knowing things that the main character Stanley doesn't. The danger is getting caught by the camp warden. The lesson is pretty obvious. This was a terrific book, and so are all the others that Louis Sachar has written!

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: This book deserves to be made into a movie!
Review: At the begining of this book, Stanley Yelnats gets accused of stealing baseball player Clyde Livingstons sneakers that he was giving to charity. The judge found him guilty, and he was given a choice to go to jail or go Camp Green Lake. At the camp, you have to dig a hole 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep for the next eighteen months.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I think that "Holes" is the best Newberry ever written.
Review: Stanley Yelnats' famly has always had bad luck. He is accused of a crime and is sent of to Camp Green Lake. At the camp he has to dig a hole every day, 5 feet in every direction. I liked this book because I like a different style of writing. Writing not making perfect sense -- but writing to be looked at and read by many people -- each individual reader having a different overall view of the story.

Summary: greatest book ever! (says my eleven year old son)
Review: The best. Great for kids. "When my Dad asked if he could read Holes to me, I wanted to play computer games instead, but listened to make him happy. Now I've found it's the greatest ever! Once you start, you can't stop. You never know what's going to happen next. I wish he would write a sequel to Holes."

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very good and well written
Review: I think it is a very good book because they have about 6 different stories going on at once which all tie together in the end. I could also see myself in Stanley's place in the storie from all the very describtive words.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book was exellent!
Review: I love this book. My favorit part was when Stanley started to teach Zero to read, and zero started to add every thing together. Then Stanley realized that Zero was smart.
