Review: I didn't think that this book would be that great but once I started reading it, it really captivated me. All the stories that somehow have some connection to the main story line intrigued me. Sachar tells the reader enough to keep them wanting to know the rest of the story all throughout the book.

Review: Take a lead character who happens to be a criminal of sorts...have the lead character encounter characters who are even more brutal or evil then our lead character...stick him in a bad situation and you have a fascinating book....As I was reading this...I kept thinking about the latest Mel Gibson movie "Payback"...you end up rooting for the bad guy...and then sympatize for him... a simple book with a multi layered plot...

Review: THis book is excellent! i really loved it! It has the most funniest setting on the bus and really happy ending for both Stanley and Zero! I do not want to give the whole thing away so go ahead and start reading Holes by Louis Sachar.

Review: the book Holes I think was a great book. it had many scenes that made you think. it was great how everything runs into eacher and ends up ok. it was definatly my favorite book I have ever read! it was great how the person who made the main character (Stanley Yelnats) go to the diciplent camp became friends.
