Review: Louis Sachar never let's me down, his books are always good. I have read almost all the books he has written and I loved them all. I like how in Holes he made everything like a puzzle and left you to figure it out. Usually everything links together at the end, but Sachar never told the reader how the puzzle links together he left you to figure it out! But he gave the reader clues to the solution! I think everyone should read this book. Like I said Sachar never let's me down!

Stanley is an unlucky boy, and he does his best to try and cope with it. Great book. But stop reading this review, read the book and see for yourself!

Review: I LOVED THIS BOOK! Louis Sachar did such a good job of connecting the characters both through time and plot. This book was very suspenseful. Review: I have been reading Holes to my 4th grade class for the past few weeks. They are totally captivated by Stanley's adventures and are impatiently waiting for the ending. We have about 25 pages to go. In the last class while I was reading you couldn't hear a pin drop - a rarity for the end of the year! Holes fills the reader - and listener- up to the brim with excitement, suspense, amusement and anticipation. This is my third time reading the novel, and I have recommended it to all of my adult friends. It's a must for taking to the beach during the long summer vacation. Thank you, Louis Sachar, for another great book to inspire children to want to become better readers!

Review: I'm a twelve year-old boy, and when I first heard about this book, I was dissapointed. I didn't think a story about a boy who went to a detention camp would be very exciting. But soon, I realized there was alot more to the book than that, and I was sucked in to an amazing plot that had me hanging on every word!!!! Stanley is an overweight kid, who is almost cursed with bad luck. And when he is sent to a detention camp, and forced to dig holes every day, 5 feet wide and 5 feet long in a dryed up lake, he knows something is wrong...that his punishment wasn't just a punishment...but a mind boggling mystery... I loved this book! I recomend it to everyone! A book that will keep you enthraled, and interested. With an evil villiness, and a WONDERFULY shaped plot, you'll get your moneys worth!!! GET THIS BOOK NOW! You will never forget it!!!!!
