Holes is about the saga of a kid named Stanley Yelnats, who is wrongfully accused of stealing a famous baseball player's expensive running shoes. He is sent to a juvenille detention center at Camp Green Lake. Can stanley endure the misery of the camp? Will he prove himself innocent? To find out, read this book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!!! Review: I started reading this book to my children and after they fell asleep I stayed up until midnight to finish it. It was that good. The book has many twists and turns and is also easy to read. It has all the requirements of a 5 star book. It is interesting, easy-to-read, and most of all entertaining. If you get a chance pick it up and read it. You won't be disappointed.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great read aloud for sixth grade Review: It was ten minutes before dismissal on a Friday afternoon. I told my class that I would have to stop reading aloud for now, and we would continue on Monday. They shouted, "NO!! Read another chapter today!!" We were sorry when the book was over.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My 13 year old son loved this book. Review: My son doesn't particularly enjoy reading, but really got "into" this story and kept telling me all about what was happening in the book. He really enjoyed this book.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: This book was ok,but I enjoyed the Wayside school books more Review: I"m glad I read it! It's hummorious and all but Mr. Sachars writting has changed a lot scince he wrote the Wayside School Books(WSB). I liked the way instead of writting "Stanley dug Holes After holes, all through the book, he put story's in. About why he was digging holes.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This is a great book. Review: This book is so good I couldn't put it down and stayed up to 12 in the proscess.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent Everything-Bad-Happens-To-Me book! Review: What a story of a young man who has never had good luck, who has always being in the wrong place at the wrong time (what teen/pre-teen can't identify with Stanley)! The "story-within-a-story" is an interesting relation of past and present, and makes this book one you won't be able to put down.
