Summary: Full of twist and turns.
Review: I think that "Holes" is one of the best books I have ever read. I liked this book because it was full of so many twist and turns when it skiped from story to story. My favorite part of this book is where all of the storys come together when Stanly Ylnats cares Hector "Zero" up the mountain to God's Tumb and completes his DIRTY-ROTTEN-NO-GOOD-PIG- STEALING-GREAT-GREATGRANDFATHER'S quest.

Summary: It was a well thought out book

Summary: The best read-aloud I've ever used in my 7th grade classroom
Review: It takes a lot of good writing to impress 65 7th graders. Sachar comes through. I read "Holes" to my 7th grade language arts classes, and they begged me every day to keep going. My students loved discovering the connections that kept cropping up as the story progressed; they felt like detectives. It is with sadness that I will put the book aside tomorrow!

Summary: interesting
Review: I recently read the book Holes, and I found it to be very interesting and tricky. It was neat how all the little things at the beginning of the book tied in at the end. The book kept me interested the whole time I was reading it. It was easy to keep up and wasn't confusing. I really enjoyed reading this book and advise all of you to read it too.

Summary: "Holes is an exciting journey that you never want to stop."
Review: This book, Holes by Louis Sachar, is wonderful. It has suspense, humor, action, and great characters. The main character, Stanley, is someone a lot of us can relate to. While he's still at school, he's made fun of because of his weight. But then when he gets sent to this camp, Camp Green Lake, he becomes well-liked. The boys at the camp get along with him and he feels like he finally fits in. Everyday Stanley is at this camp he has to dig a 5 foot by 5 foot hole. Doing this, he gets into shape, and feels better about himself. This is exciting and invigorating and one of the best books I have ever read. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to get a good laugh, or just likes a story that isn't boring. I was really impressed.
