Summary: Great themes are present throughout the book!
Review: As college students, we feel this book is true to life for all ages. Stanley is an inspiring character who shows the true meaning of perserverance. Stanley also proves to be a dedicated friend to all of "group D." The flow of the text engaged us and our minds continously pondered about the next events. As future teachers we recommend this book to all and will one day use this book in our classrooms.

Summary: Captures your attention
Review: This book was very well written and captured our attention from the get go. It was a little confusing at the beginning because of the different storylines, but then the author cleverly intertwined them and by the end of the novel it all came together. We are Baylor University Education Majors, and we would definitely use this book in our classroom one day.

Summary: One of the most wonderful books I've ever read!
Review: This book was so well written! I read it aloud to my class, & they were mezmerized. They would beg me to not stop reading each day. The inter-woving of several stories kept the excitement alive. The relationship between two of the main characters really touched my heart. The committment to one another's freedom & well-being was refreshing. I'm recommending to children and adults alike!

Summary: This book is stupid.
Review: Holes is a book about this and that and this and that. And it is the best book i have ever read.NOT! It is the stupidest book i have ever in my whole entire life. Never read this book unless you are forced to or you have asoloutley nothin to do.It is really that bad. Never judge a book by it's cover well this one you should. Stupid cover, stupid story. But hey it was better than watching some stupid 2-year old show. I would rather read Harry Potthead. This book makes you feel kind of like you're sitting in a big garbage can filled with the stupidest books. Anyway don't read this.

Summary: Holes was a comical, and emotional book.
Review: Holes was a funny, and emotional book. I enjoyed it very much. I got to wondering if there is really a place like Camp Green Lake really out there. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the book. I liked the story within a story. That was really intresting. I could picture the book in my head. I could see things like Stanley loosing weight from all the hole digging. And I could see Zero eating the peaches under the old boat. I really enjoyed this book. And I'd like to thank my teacher for reading it to us. Thank you!!!!!!
