Summary: Pick up this best seller quickly!!
Review: What an awesome book! I read this amazing book in less than a day. It is the best book with no doubt! This book is about a boy named Stanley. His family has a long history of bad luck! So it's not surprising that he gets sent to a juvenile camp called Camp Green Lake. Camp Green Lake is a punishment camp for misbehaved kids. For punishment each day the kids have to dig holes. The holes must be five feet deep and five feet across. If you don't think that's bad, they don't even have water to drink. The nearest place to get water is over 100 miles away!

As you get deeper and deeper into this brilliant book it seems to get a little bit more peculiar! Weirder and weirder things begin to happen each day. Louis has a great talent for making you want to read more and more, and at the end of each chapter he leaves you with little cliff hangers. That's one of the reasons I love this book. "Holes" is very descriptive, and there is lots of action. Holes is not just like the dog fell in the lake and hit his head. I recommend this book to all ages of people. I also hope you enjoy "Holes" as much as I did!

Summary: Our class loved Holes!
Review: Our fifth-grade class listened to Holes as a read-aloud. It was one of the most interesting and exciting books we've ever read. Some of us bought the book before our teacher even finished reading it to us. We loved the author's sense of humor and the weird nicknames and names of characters in the book. Holes was like a big puzzle that kept us guessing until the very end. We loved to predict what was going to be revealed next. We never wanted the teacher to stop reading.

Summary: Truly Fantastic!!!
Review: I ordered, and quickly read, Holes over the summer after receiving it from amazon.com. I teach fifth grade and I read this book to my class early in the year. Every time I stopped reading my students groaned aloud, as they could not wait to hear about what was going to happen next to Stanley, Zero, the boys of Camp Green Lake, and Kissin' Kate Barlow. A fantastic book with interesting twists and a wonderful message for all. I highly recommend it!
