Review: I liked the book because it had action. I also enjoyed thhe settig,the plot,and the characters fit what they are doing.I thik you'll enjoy it. I did! It takes place in a dried up lake where kids who get in trouble go and dig holes 5ft.deep and 5ft.wide. A couple of kids named Caveman and Zero hear about treasure burried and they go searching for it.You'll have to read the rest of the book.

Review: Its a work of art.Stanley Yelnats has just been framed and now hes being sent to a camp in the middle of nowhere , where he has to dig holes that are 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide. He's facing the threat of poisonous lizards and the hottest part of the year.It's gonna keep you on the edge of your seat! I loved this book and you will too!

Review: I know this book is supposed to be written for kids but I have a confession to make.I'm 45 years old and although I started reading it at eleven at night I was captured within minutes! By eight the next morning (with a couple of hours sleep in between) I finished it! The story of Stanley Yelnats, his family, his bad luck is tightly and brilliantly written! This book is fast moving, fun and a real classic. It may be fun for children but truthfully you have to be an adult to fully appreciate it. I'm Going to read this book over again just to learn how to write a tight funny story brilliantly. By the way, I got on line and ordered all the rest of Sachars books. In my book, He's right up there with Diane Wynne Jones (if you haven't read her start now) as one of the most imaginative authors ever!

Review: It's a great book and it's really neat how at the end everything fits together. The book shows you the true meaning of friendship and how two boys can survive on sploosh and onions. I recommend it for all ages eight and up. You have to read it, if you already haven't!
