Rating: Summary: Diggin' Holes 1 By 1 Review: I really like the book. I wouldn't like to dig holes all day. I wouldn't want to go to a juvenile camp. It was funny when Zero hit Mr. Pendanski with a shovel. I would have enjoyed being on top of Big Thumb, it would teach you many good lessons on how to survive. I really enjoyed this bood and would recommend everyone to read it.
Rating: Summary: The Truth Review: Holes may be about digging holes, but it's about something else to. It's about a boy who learns alot about himself and finds strength inside, where others did not. I recommend this book to those who like to read. If you don't like to read you may not like it.
Rating: Summary: Good classroom read aloud Review: I am a fifth grade teacher and I recently read this book aloud to my class. We all loved it. The author keeps you guessing at what is going to happen next and he developed the characters so intermediate aged children can identify with them. I would not recommend this story for children under 10. As some of the content is for more mature children. My students loved it. Reading this book out loud will become a tradition in my classroom.
Rating: Summary: LOVING HOLES 5X5 Review: This book is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats, that found a pair of stolen shoes. I like it when Stanley stole the water truck and ran it into a hole. I also liked it when Stanley had to carry Zero up the mountain. He realized he was in mud, and to make mud, you need water. Thanks to his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather, Stanley turned out to be a better person and happier with himself. I recommend this story to people, who like fictional adventure stories.
Rating: Summary: ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha Review: It was histerictal. No, it was horrible,it was great.I loved it.I like where he was hit with the shovel.I didn't like it I loved it.I'll give it 0 thumbs up.
Rating: Summary: It was POWERFUL! Review: I give it 1,0000 thumbs up! I thought it was funny. It was funny when Stanly drove a car into a hole
Rating: Summary: Whadda Book! Review: Holes was a good book about Camp Green Lake. The camp is not green and is not a lake. I did not think that this was such a great book for kids as it was for adults. It was very strange, and I didn't like the flashbacks because they made everything so confusing, so you didn't know if it was the present or the past. But other than that it was a good book.
Rating: Summary: Not a book I will ever touch again. Review: Holes started out nice. But then all that happened for a while was dig, dig, dig. I mean come on. What is so exciting about digging holes? I would not recomend reading this book. Like I said, It has a great start. But it just gets boring. There are rattle snakes and deadly lizards. But nothing can cheer me up over that boring theme. But this is just my oppinion. Your better of reading Harry Potter. Don't waste your time with Holes!
Rating: Summary: A Weird Book I Really "DIG" Review: When I first saw this book, I thought: WHAT? All the kids in my grade (all 8 of them, little school) and our teacher wanted to read it. I was the 6th person to read it and had seen how the people who have read it bothered the people who were reading it at the moment. I took it home and read it all that night. Even though I didn't want to be bothered, I still would have finished it in one night! It was really good but I liked the Honor book better.
Rating: Summary: One Big Thumbs Up! (Hint ,Hint) Review: I think this is a great book. The Warden, Mr. Sir, Mr. Pendanski, and Zero were great characters. I listened to it on tape, and the guy who read it was really good. I think you should read it or listen to it because it is such a great book.
