Holes is my new favorite book because it grabs your attention with all of the twists and turns. My favorite part of the book is when just kidding you'll just have to find out for yourself. I think it is funny that Stanley always blames his great great grampa for evrything.

It was so good that my mom is reading it. Everything in this book is very important. During this book you learn plenty of morals, like "don't judge a book by its cover", "don't steal", and "don't break promises." This book was a little strange for me, but it was worth it. I highly recommend this book to all kids over 10 years and older.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Life Lessons Review: Louis Sachar's Newbery Medal-winning book is full of life lessons, all of which come full circle and tie together neatly at the novel's end. Young readers will enjoy looking for clues in the flashbacks to the ancestors of Stanley Yelnats and his fellow "camper" Zero. And even adults will find themselves gasping when the Warden's flashlight shines near the book's end. The novel is filled with lessons about friendship, loyalty, honesty, racism, and family. It leaves readers looking at the world differently, wondering what secrets lie buried in their own backyards.

At the end you look over it and say, "Oh, wow! Everything is a circle!" Holes got its name from the fact that everything runs in a circle, and holes are circles, too! I really loved and enjoyed this book and plan to buy it and read it repeatedly. Read this book and be happy!

You can't stop reading it. That's how great it is! The way Louis Sachar wrote this book was amazing. The story is one huge circle. It was a book that made you think. If you missed one small detail you wouldn't be able to figure stuff out later on in the book. The main character is Stanley Yelnats, Stanley is a boy who's family over the years been cursed with bad luck, thanks to a ancestor from long ago. This book is funny, interesting, and strange. It's one of the best books I ever read. I highly recommend this book to anyone. I promise they would enjoy it!

I would recommend this book to anyone 10 or older. The reading was not hard but the details were superb. This book was a big circle, every detail and flashback means something later in the book. It was so good that while reading it with my class I was often tempted to read ahead. If your looking for a all-around good book this is your book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Holes- The Greatest Book Ever! Review: I think that Holes is a really great book. It's about a boy named Stanley Yelnats who is accused of stealing a pair of shoes from a famous baseball player named Clyde Livingston. He has the choice of going to prison or going to Camp Green Lake. This is no ordinary camp, though. This book was so interesting and amazing that I don't know how Louis Sachar thought of it. In the beginning it seems kind of weird, but in the end every detail helps you figure out something about the book. Holes really made you think.
