Summary: Holes
Review: The book Holes by Loius Sachar is a book that has alot of action. I especially like the part when Zero hits one of the counselors in the head with a shovel. When Stanley (Caveman) first got sent to Camp Green Lake he thought it was going to be a great place, anybody would because of the name. Stanley chose it over jail. The boys that were there welcomed him because the counselor told them to say hi. As the story progresses Stanley becomes good friends with Zero. Stanley would teach Zero how to read and write if Zero dug half of his hole. Then one day Zero ran away after hitting one of the counselors in the head with a shovel. Stanley ends up chasing after him about a week later. He finds him and they decide to go to the mountains. They find a place at the top of the mountain which has water and lots of onions. The reason they went to the mountains was because they couldn't go back to the camp and it was all desert, until they made it to the mountains. After another week or two they went back to the camp so they could find the treasure the warden was after. The warden caught them, but White tongued Lizards came and if they moved thy would die. So they sat there for a while and somehow a lawyer came for Stanley , but she took Zero too. When Stanley and Zero got to Stanley's house they found out that his made an invention so he could afford a lawyer also they found out that Stanley was innocent. Zero said he did it, but the lawyer told him she didn't hear that.Thats about all I can tell you about Holes but you should read it yourself.

Summary: Holes By Louis Sachar
Review: The plot of Holes is realistic. I think it is realistic becausestolen shoes could land in front of you like it happend to the main character Caveman who picked them up and got arrested because they thought he stole them. Nowadays if you steal something you would either be sent to jail or sent to a juvenial correction facility. Those were two choices Caveman got, the other was to go to Camp Greenlake. He chose Camp Greenlake. The following sentences are the only part in Holes that I dont think is realistic. Most people would think that Camp Greenlake would be full of cool water where you could swim, surrounded by green grass and trees. With comfy bunks to sleep on At least thats what Caveman thought. But insted of a lake full of water there is an old dried up lake. There isnt any grass and only two trees. The bunks are lumpy and smell really bad. But the worst thing is that he has to dig one hole a day exactly five feet deep and five feet wide. I dont think this is realistic because in the book a when a teachers lover is killed she curses the lake and it hasn't rained since. I loved this book because it is full of comedy and I would recommend this book to anyone. I will give this book five stars.

Summary: This book is good.
Review: After reading Holes, I found myself reading one of the best books ever. This book is creative, and has the most interesting plot. Stanley Yelnats is so well described, and the characters are so detailed. You can almost feel yourself there with them at the horrid camp. As you can tell, I loved the characters. The character development was amazing, and the feelings of the characters were always described well. This book is one I recommend to anyone.
