Review: Exciting,unbelieveable, bizarre like. All this in one book, something you can not put down. Life was average, dull, and more like hard for Stanley Yelnats until everything changed when he found himself at the wrong place at the wrong time. This is where it changed his life forever. A must read book, if you are just the kind of person who likes twists, turns, and all kinds of books that just keep you on the edge wanting to read more and more with every page you turn...then this is the perfect book for you. A quest in disguise, and a story within a story within a story. So (you) the reader can pick up important clues and hints to understand the setting. The author, Louis Sachar wanted to make a realistic but freaky sort of book and that is what he accomplished. You'll love the surprises and if your that kind of person who thinks every book is great then you'll just say its the book of the year. Holes is good but if you just dont like things with too much coinsidence and and ask your self "whats the possibility of that?"then you might think its quite a turn off. But you'll enjoy this book and give it 2 thumbs up. And dont let the book cover turn you off!!! :-)

Summary: The Bottom Of The Holes
Review: As I read the book Holes I would pick it up and never want to put it down!It sure kept me wondering "what happens next?"
The author Louis Sachar described the charactors and setting so well i felt as if i was in the story digging holes with the rest of his humerous charactors!!
The best part of the book was how while I was reading about a character in his own setting when I turned the page it would be telling me about a whole new set of characters, telling the background of the characters on the previous page. It was as if I was reading three different books. But of course in the end it all comes together!

Review: I think Holes was a terrific book.It was funny ,sad, and weird all at the same time. I advise this book to all young readers to read this book. It is great for a book report or just to read. This book is a story about a boy named Stanley Yelnats who says that a famous baseball players shoes fell from the sky. You'll see how he tries to get through many obstacles and tries to break a curse that his great-great grandfather set. Louis Sacher put this book togeter wonderfully.

Review: In my reading class we have just read a great book called Holes.To me, this book was excellant.I know this may seem weird,but Holes isn't just a story,it's a story within a story within a story.The author's name is Louis Sachar.The story was very good because it was half mystery/half adventure.Believe me,I thought the book was going to be boring,but you actuallly felt like you were in the book. Review: Holes is a great book. I think you will like the book also. When I was reading I couldn't put the book down because it is so good. The book is about Stanley Yelnats who goes to a Camp for " bad boys." Stanley steals a pair of shoes. The story is a story within a story. You don't understand understand that because you have to read the book. It is a mystery and adventure book. You meet a lot of different characters. So I think you will love the book.

It wasn't only a story it was a story within a story within a story.They had good themes,characters,and a good plot.Luis Sachar is a great writer and I think that everyone should read some of his books. My favorite character is Stanley because he shows courage, strength, and ge showed he that he really cared for Zero and his parents. In the beginning a lot of things were going on but in the end of the book everything comes together. I think that everyone should try to read this book.

Review: This book is truly an amazing book. I suggest if you read it you should be at least 10 years old because somethings are hard to understand. Holes is a story within a story within a story. If you read this book you will see what I mean. Holes is very symbolic and includes curses, an amazing friendship, and generations of wonder. If you read it you will quickly become friends with Caveman, Zero, Zigzag, and Armpit.
This is a must read!!!!!!
