Summary: Angie Meneses and Marisol Lopez's Holes review
Review: The novel Holes is a very good book about two boys named Stanley Yelnats and Hector Zeroni, but every body calls him Zero. Stanley is arrested for supposedly stealing shoes and gets sent to Camp Green Lake. He arrives at camp, meets the boys, and learns the rules. In the past, his great-great grandfather got cursed by a gypsy lady. Stanley makes a deal that eventually causes both of them to run away. They find refuge on Big Thumb. This is a very good book that I enjoyed and would recommend to almost anybody.

There were several lessons to be found in this book. The three I noticed the most were to love the mother that you have, do as if you would want others to do to you, and live as if it was your last day to be free. The first thing that I noticed was to love the mother that you have. In life you only have one biological mother, so you should love her as if she were to die tomorrow. The second thing that I noticed was do as if you would want others to do to you. Stanley went to find Zero hoping that Zero would do the same. The third thing that I noticed was live as if it was your last day to be free. Stanley didn't know he was going to go to Canp Green Lake when he found Clyde Livingston's shoes. There were many lessons to be found in the book, but the three I noticed the most were to love the mother that you have, do as if you would want others to do to you, and live as if it was your last day to be free.

Overall I think this book was very fun and exciting to read. This is a very good book for teenagers to read who think their life is hard.

Summary: holes by Tyler Carlile and Jeremy Swickey
Review: The novel holes is an interesting book about two boys named Stanley and Zero. First, Stanley is arrested for stealing shoes.
Second, he digs holes. Third, Stanley and Zero run away. Fourth,
Stanley finds Zero.

There are many things that were belevable. They are Stanley, Mr.Sir, and Zero. The first person I thought was believable because they told about his heritage. The second person I thought was real was Mr. Sir. I thought he was believable because he is mean ,like alot of people in the world. The third person I thought was real becaus he has had a rough life, like many people. I think the people are real because they have had rough and exciting lives. Like many after people, these people had played good rules in this book holes.

The reason I like this book is because it was very interesting. I think other people shoud read it.

Review: The novel Holes is a suspenceful book about two boys named Stanley and Zero. Stanley always gets in trouble. They have to dig holes to find somethig for the Warden. Later, the boys are forced to run away. Stanley and Zero are good friends.

There are several lessons about the story. They are history always repeats itself, things always happen for a reason, and always think the best. My first point paragraph is history always repeats itself. Everything will always repeat itself. My second point paragraph is Things always happen for a reason. Stanley meets Zero. My third point paragrah is always think the best. When things seem bad, they'll always get better. The book Holes shows all of these things.

This book had a good plot. You will want to keep reading this book.

Summary: Conflicts Stanley Faces
Review: There are three conflicts Stanley faces. These conflicts are going to Camp Green Lake, getting along with everyone, and trying to survive without water. The first conflict is going to Camp Green Lake. It is hard for him to go because he isn't going to know anyone. The second conflict is trying to get along
with everyone. When he gets to camp, they give him a nickname, which is a really good sign. The third conflict is surving without water. Stanley had many problems or conflicts through this story.

There are three conflicts that I thought were the main ones. They are going to Camp Green Lake, trying to get along with everyone, and trying to survive without water.

The novel Holes is an exciting book about two boys named Stanley and Zero. A boy named Stanley Yelnats was sent to a camp called Camp Green Lake for stealing shoes. Stanley met a boy named Zero, who could not read or write. Later the boys were compelled to leave camp.

Summary: Hunter Ivys Review for Holes
Review: Holes is a book about a boy named Stanley Yelnats. His whole family was cursed by a gypsy Since then they have had a long stroke of bad luck. They always seem to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. That got him sent to a place called, Camp Green lake. There they have to dig a hole five ft. wide and five ft. deep. Later in the story, one of his friends, Zero , runs off into the desert, and Stanley goes after him. They almost die, but find refuge on God's Thumb. While they are in the desert, he lifts the curse. When they go back to the camp he stops the warden and saves the day.

I chose the protagonist of this story. The protagonist of this story is a boy named Stanley Yelnats. He is a good boy, a little over weight, but still good boy. HE is picked on and gets sent to Camp Green Lake. Later Zero becomes sort of a protagonist. When he first arrived, he thought the camp was going to be a camp fun and games, but he was wrong. Later while he was at camp, a lawyer came to take stanley out of the campl. Before he leaves,Zero and he find a suitcase, and it is filled with beatiful, well I can't tell you or it will give too much away. If you want to find out what happend to the warden and Mr.Sir and whats in the suitcase, you have to read this book.

Overall I think holes is a good book, and it is good for all ages.I have read it twice, and I loved it.

Summary: Josh and Janel's holes review
Review: This is a unique book about a boy who gets sent off to Camp Green Lake. Stanley is a boy in the book who gets sent to camp for stealing tennis shoes. Stanley is unique because his first name is his last name spelled backwards. He meets a friend, his name is Zero, and they get into lots of trouble.

There are many things about Stanley that make him unique. The things that make him unique are he's smarter than the other boys, he cares about his mother more than anyone else, and he didn't do anything wrong. The first unique thing about Stanley is he is smarter than the other boys. He actually cares about is brain. The second unique thing is he cares about his mother. He thinks about her and want she thinks. The third unique thing about Stanley is he didn't do anything wrong. He didn't steal the shoes he just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.Stanley was just an unique person.

It's an awesome book. It has many interresting stories from past to present. If you like books like this; look for Holes.

Summary: A Holes review by Adam McCown and Jason Lashley
Review: Stanley Yelnats and his entire family were cursed by a gypsy more than several hundred years ago. This curse put Stanley in a camp for being caught stealing. At this camp, Camp Green Lake, you have to dig a hole every day while you're there. Stanley relizes that something strange is going on when he finds an object that the warden is very pleased about. After digging holes everyday, Zero, one of Stanley's friends' runs away. Stanley then goes after him. They both seek refuge on a mysterious mountain. They both wind up being heroes and leave the camp.

This story has many lessons on life. There are many lessons thoughout this novel. They are putting others in in front of yourself, stealing gets you no where, and the past repeats itself. The first lesson is put others in front of yourself. When Zero ran away from camp, Stanley risks his life to find him. The second lesson is stealing get you no where. Zero took some shoes from a homeless shelter, and Stanley gets caught: Zero attemps to try to get another pair of shoes, and he is then caught. The third lesson is the past repeats itself. Linda and Trout lost a fortune and tried to get it back by stealing from an outlaw. The warden is also looking for a fortune. The lesson is don't be greedy. There were many other lessons throught out this novel, but these three are the ones I like the most. Put yourself in front of others, stealing gets you no where, and the past repeats itself.

Holes is a wonderful book for all ages. I love the story itself, and I'd read it a million times if I had to.

Summary: Jessica Barnes's and Saisha Meyer's review
Review: This book is about this boy named Stanley Yelnats. He gets in trouble for a crime that he never commited. Everyday he has to dig a hole 5' ft all directions. Then he finally finds out he was innocent. The camp was shut down and made into a girl scout camp.
There are several lessons that can be found in this novel. The three most important ones are don't steal, care for others less fortunate then you, and don't follow the wrong examples of others. The most important lesson is don't steal. Even if you want something that is'nt yours don't take it. It might be special or important to them, and if you take it from them, it will hurt them. The second important lesson is to care for others less fortunate then you. Just because they don't have, everything you have don't mean you should be rude. Be nice, and you will be treated with the same kindness. All anyone wants is a friend. The third most important lesson is don't follow the wrong examples of others. They will get you into trouble. You can find someone better than that. You really don't need someone like that; find a better friend.
I thought this book was very interesting It could of been a little shorter, but it was still good. I would denfinately read it over, and over again. I would also recommend this book to all people that like a mystery.

Summary: Lori and Tamara's Book Review
Review: At the begining of the story Stanley was accused of stealing shoes. And was sent to Camp Green Lake. He arrives at Camp and learns the rules. Stanley diggs his first hole and finds something. His great, great, grandfather got cursed by a gypsy. Now they think Stanley's family is cursed. Stanley makes a deal with Zero to teach him to read and Zero has to dig half of his hole. Onion Sam and Miss Katherine fall in love. As a result Sam gets killed and Miss Katherine becomes an outlaw. Zero runs away from Camp and later Stanley comes after him. Stanley and Zero find refuge on God's Thumb.

Stanley had many conflicts in this story. Three of the biggest were the Warden, Mr. Sir, And digging holes. The first conlict is the Warden not doing anything about the lizards. The second is Mr.Sir not giving him any water. The third opossing force was when he had to dig holes. This was an oppossing force because it was hot outside.

We like this book because it had a lot of life lessons in it.Yes we like this book
