Summary: They Can Run But They Cannot Hide
Review: I like this book because it has action and adventure. Once you read a chapter you'll want to read more. In Holes, a bunch of boys get sent to a boot camp called Green Lake. It was one a lake but it dried up. All day long the boys each had to dig hole five feet deep and five feet around. The warden says it's for punishment but the main character, Stanly Yelnats, find out it's for another reason.

Review: I gave this book four stars because, it was an interesting and fun to read. It is about a kid who was falsely accused and punished for a crime that he did not commit. He learns valuable lessons at a camp for troubled boys. I would recomend this book to almost anyone. It was an exeptional book.

Review: I give this book Holes 3-½ stars. I especially like the part when they were in the lizard hole. After that they had to eat onions and drink muddy water, so they wouldn't get bit. And I like the part when zero had the lizard on his shoulder. I would recommend this to my closest friends.

Review: The book Holes was not very exciting to read that is why I gave it a 3 on how it was. This book did have some interesting parts in it that I kind of liked. Like a part where Stanley tried to take a truck and drive off but then fall into a hole that had been dug. There was another part flowing that when Stanley falls into a hole and finds lizards crawling on him meanwhile he found a treasure box? I would recommend this book to people that like to read.

Review: Stanley Yelnats is in a very big problem,he is in a kind of jail where he is forced to dig all day long at a very high temperatures, but the worst of all is that he is innocent of the crime that he is accused of. At the beginning when he first gets there,he is a little bit scared, but then...I'm going to stop here and let you discover all the interesting things that happened next.I would surely recommend this book to a friend, because I know that if he/she reads it, he/she will enjoy it as much as I did.

Review: The book Holes is written by Louis Sachar. It is a great book. It is a story about a boy's quest to innocence. The boy's name is Stanley Yelnats and he was committed of a crime he did not do. Because of this he was sent to "Camp Green Lake" instead of jail. You must read this fantastic book to find out more about Kissin Kate Barlow, Zero, and the Warden. I recommend this book for grades 4-9.
