Review: This book is awesome. It's about a boy and his friend who decide to go somewhere they're not allowed, but on the way they come to a river.So his friend tries talking into going swimming.So he talks him into swimming. Once they get in, they have a race to a little island, but one of the boys is a better swimmer than the other. The boy who's faster of course wins, but when he turns around his friend isn't there. Is he dead or is he playing a trick? Read and find out.

Review: This book was so boring i couldn't stand to finish it! Never was I excited, or eager to read more. Its famous and supposed to be good but I couldn't stand reading the whole thing. Some books time seems to go by fast while reading, with this its like the book never ends, although it is short it seems really long. I would suggest getting it from a library first to see if you really want to buy the atrocity that is Sign of the Beaver.

Review: I like the way Matt and Attean kill the bear.But Attean did not eat any of the bear. I want to know why the boy did not eat the bear? I also like the part when Attean's dog got stuck in a trap . Then Matt went to Attean Gandmother's house to get help for Attean's dog.But what he got was Attean's little sister.It was a good book to read.T.D.

It's about a boy named Matt that has been left behind to guard the family cabin while his father goes back to Quincy, Massachussetts for the family. The Beaver tribe chief and his grandson, Attean, help save Matt from a swarm of bees, Will he live or will he die? The two boys go on a trail and are confronted by a bear. Will they get out alive? Read the book and find out and have a great time reading it!

Review: What I like about this book is that it tells some about the Native Americans,and haw the young Natives boys became man . It tells about a little boy named Matt. Matt is left behind. He has to tend the garden. One day he climbed up a tree and got stung by a pack of bees. He got help from an Indian boy named Attean. Attean did not like Matt at first, but they soon got along. One day a man came and stole Matt's gun. The man's name was Ben. Soon Matt's family comes back home. I think this is a good book for kids.
