Review: This indepth book offers everything a teen needs to help herself to a positive body image. It also includes supporting topics such as eating disorders, cosmetic surgery,tattooing and body piercing. It is an excellent book with appropriate language for a 12-19 year old. It's an easy read. And the reader can select portions of the book which is of specific interest and not have to read the entire 100 pages. I was particulary impressed with the section which describes the negative influence of the media. It helps the reader put the images of thin models into perspective.
