Summary: Intriging!
Review: A Tale of Two Cities is a wonderfull book, I'm 14 so it was at first rather confusing and boring, but I knew that Charles Dickens would NOT end it boring and that in the end I would be stuck on it and keep thinking about it days after. So I stuck to it and I am really glad that I did. When I finished it it was just as I had expected. Its incredible how Dr Manette and Mr Darnay end up so connected! And how Sydney Carton fits into the story at the end. All the strings are tied up at the end wonderfully! The end is great and I love it that it doesn't leave you hanging wondering what happened to them later. I totally recommend it to people that like old fasioned books written long ago. I loved it!

Summary: A teens look at one of the most famous books of the past
Review: Hello this year in my english class we read A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. I have to admit at first the book was kind of boring and confusing but I stuck with it and the farther I got into the book the more I loved it. Not only does this book tell about the French Revelution but it also tells about a person regaining his life and how strong love for another person can be and it has some pretty cool action seens so boys will love it too. I am urging any teen or adult who reads this review to buy the book because it's a book anyone no matter what type of book you usually read would love!

Summary: A great book
Review: I loved this book.It is a great historical fiction book, and also has a good Christian moral tone.It really shows how precious life really is, and how bloodthirsty the French Revolutionists really were. This is probably the best book I have ever read.

Summary: A very intriguing book
Review: I see, from the other reviews, that many boys and girls are reading this book in school. Maybe this is not a very good way to enjoy it, because they just have to read it! This is not my case: I read it just for personal interest and I found it very intriguing. Dickens, I think, is at his best when he speaks out of his personal experience; in this historical book he is maybe a little less convincing. But he is able, all the same, to create a wonderful plot, with some unforgettable passages. Sidney Carton on the steps of the Guillotine, holding the hand of the little seamstress, is simply unforgettable...

Summary: Very Excellant Book!!
Review: The book A Tale of Two Cities is probably the best book about the French Revolution I have read. I didn't find this book the least bit confusing, and I love the way Dickens ties all of the "loose ends" in Book the Third; EVERYONE in the book is connected somehow, and it's really amazing how he ties them all together in the end. I love the way Dickens made Sydney Carton start off hating himself, and in the end, he sacrfices his own life to save Darnay. Why? Because Lucie has "Recalled" him "to Life", just like Mr.Lorry did to Dr.Manette, by digging him out of his living grave in the bastille. Lucie gave Sydney a purpose in life, and she doesn't even know until he's dead. Anyways, I could go on for a very long time, so I'll end by saying, "Read this book, it's awesome!!"

Summary: An electrifying Book
Review: This book was extremely well written. I would suggest this book to anyone. - The Bear

Summary: Greatest book in the world!
Review: This book was the best. I know at first it was so boring but after a while it gets really good! The one guy, Carton Dies for Darnay because he is in love with Lucie who is married to Darnay. I thought it was a very great book because of the great forshadowing and the beautiful way that Carton risks his life for his lady love.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It was good but too many things going at once.
Review: This is a good book and everything and it was written very well, except it's a bit confusing. I thought that it had too many things going at once and too many characters going at once. I don't know but it seems as if the author just tried to put all of his ideas into one book.(Its not as good as OF MICE AND MEN)
