Summary: I like the wilderness so I like this book
Review: This book is a good action packed adventurious book. I love how the auther made there personalities. I like where the the auther put these people in the outdoors, and how he set up where they would end up. He is good at thinking up what would happen to the charactors. I also like ho he set up the places the charactor would be. That is all I can think up right now.

Review: This book is about a spoiled boy, Tony, and how hw gets himself and a hitchiker, Cindy , into trouble. The story starts with Tony wanting a dog but his parents won't let him because of the responsibilities. He brings home a stray but soon it is kicked out and that makes Tony upset. He decides to go after his dog instead of going to school. He is so upset he decides to get even and takes his mothers car. Meanwhile Cindy is at a bus station and decides she could get where she wants by hitchhiking. She gets picked up by a guy and she is unsure of him so she gets out on the highway. Tony is heading down the highway and sees her. He picks her up and go. They are heading to Tony's uncle. The snow is getting worse and soon they are driving lost. They panic and end up in field unable to drive out. They rely on each other to survive for a few days and then Tony leaves to find help. Instead he finds a cabin and there is food there. He returns to Cindy at the car. They decide to move from the car to the cabin. Cindy has frostbite and they have to move slowly. They take the hood of the car and use it for a sled. They get moving too fast and Tony breaks his leg. They hobble along and they have to ward off wild dogs. They come across a park. They follow the road and a lady, Mrs. Littlejohn, sees them. The story ends with Tony at the hospital and Cindy back at home.

Review: This book is about a teenage boy who is not doing so well in school,and really wants a dog,but his parents wont let him have one because of the cost.One day he brought a stray dog home and kept him but his parents threw it out of the house because it was too noisey.So the next day he went looking for the dog again and ran into a hitch hiker and picked her up.While he was driving he got into a argument with her and got into a car wreck. They were lost and stuck in the car for weeks survivng on a tin of cookies,until they they found a cabin to stay for awhile until they were rescued had come for them.After they were rescued they became very good friends.I think this book is a great book to read if you like adventures and the wilderness.

Review: This book is about a teenage boy, named Tony who realy wants a dog, but his parents say no. When he finds out about this, he decides to take his mother's car and go to his uncle's house, just to hso them something. It turns out, he is not even sixteen and he comes about some bad weather. When he is driving, he sees a hitch hiker on the side of the road and picks her up. They do not exactly start off on the right foot, and come to some problems along the way. To find out what happens to Tony and Cindy, you will just have to read the book Snow Bound, by Harry Mazer

Review: this book snow bound is an excellent survial book that shows how you could make it threw the wilderness and the really cold winters just surving on cookies and melted snow to heat you. this book is such a great book. i sugest everyone read it in the usa who loves the wild and edge of the seat advengers!

Summary: A remarkable tale of survival and maturity
Review: This is the first HM book I've ever read,and so far I like what I see. He's just as good as his wife. I couldn't put this one down,especially when Tony and Cindy were lost in the woods. I'm a lot like the latter. I understand how she could get irritated with Tony. But I liked their ingenuity. Not many people could endure being stranded in the forest for so long. Even they needed some time to learn that being dependent on someone else(although you may not like that person)can be just as important to survival as being independent. To quote a famous playwright,you must go into the woods to grow,and grow they did. I reccomend this book to anyone!

Review: This story i found intreasting but not compared to mazer's other ones. The story begins with Tony Laporte, a spoiled brat child who goes off into a mad rage. When his parents refuse to keep a stray he found, he steals his mothers car driving off to his uncle's when he picks up a hitchiker, cindy, cindy is appalled at tony's selfish and spoiled behavior when tony takes a wrong turn into the deep dark lonesome forest how will he survive how will these two strangers get along what happens when two strangers who dont like eachother are put in bad circumstances forced together? will they survive?
