Rating: Summary: What a wonderful book!!! Review: I just loved this book! There are lots of interesting characters and a suspenful plot. Will Lenora and Coren fall in love? Will they make it out of Grag and escape Hevak's evil plans? I couldn't put this book down and I can't wait to read the sequel-More Minds!
Rating: Summary: Of To Minds Review: I love this book so much. I usually don't read fantasy but I made an exception for this book. If you love fantasy pick up this book, it's da bomb!!! This book also had action, a bit of mystery and very little romance. My kind of book. If you like the things I've listed above read this book. Carol Matas and Perry Nodelman are great authors, read their whole set.
Rating: Summary: Nope nope nope. Review: I really cant explain much of this book becuase I didnt even finish it. About halfway through i couldnt take it. I was confused and though it was very slow.
Rating: Summary: Perhaps a little confusing, but a good children's book Review: I really did like this book because it's just so much fun to read! It doesn't go very deeply into character analysis or the complexities of love, however, which was probably the intent of the authors since this was directed at children. The authors really did make these two worlds--one of Gepeth and Andilla with their petty preudices and hates and one of Grag, with its seemingly "perfect" society--realistic enough to appease even the most inquisitive eight-year-old. Caught up in the middle of this conflict is Lenora, who is enticed by the "perfect" society and pulls her betrothed Coren, who is inexplicably linked to her, in the conflict as well. Add the strange powers that both Coren and Lenora abuse in different ways and it makes an interesting read at the very least. The characteristics of these powers are not fully explained as it is complicated, but a bit of thinking and it will become clear.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I really like this book. I like that they have power. If you like fantasy books read this book.
Rating: Summary: One Amazing Book Review: I really liked this book a lot! It was a mixture of fantasy, humor and a bit of romance. Somthing about the book made me keep reading for hours on end until the book was finished. Princess Lenora is from Gepeth, a country where everyone can imagine something and make it real. (I guess you won't need to go to the mall anymore.) But no one except Lenora will use their powers because it might upset the Balance. (Oh dear!) Prince Coren is from Andilla where people live in their minds. They can imagine they're eating fried chicken when what they're really eating is blue mush. (Yuck!) Instead of talking, they communicate with their minds. However, Coren doesn't like the idea of people being able to read his mind, so he decides to stop imagining a soft, fluffy bed and instead sleeps on a bumpy, old, real, bed. Well, these two young royals are to be married. (Not of their own free will) During the ceremony, Lenora transports both of them to a world she sees in a basin of water. They find that in that world, they are unable to use their powers. Soon Coren and Lenora figure out what's going on and who is causing all of the problems. You have to read this book and its sequels!
Rating: Summary: Of Two Minds Review: I really love this book. I like reading fantasy and romance. This book has both but has more fantasy in it. Princess Lenora is a girl who is turning 17. Her father brings Prince Coren to her for her birthday. Her parents and Coren's parents wants them to marry. Before they met both saw something in a mirror or water. They both don't want to marry each other and some how they both think that there is something wrong with each other. They travel to a another world were they both most trust each other to save themselves and others. I think that anyone who loves fantasy with a little bit of romance should read this book and read the sequel to it. ("More Minds", "Out of Their Minds", and "A Meeting of Minds")
Rating: Summary: rewiew of this book Review: I thought this book was a thrilling adventure for young minds! It was as if the people in this book were real. The little people and the other creatures made it a little bit more interesting.
Rating: Summary: One Book Never To Forget! Review: I thought this book was GREAT once it wasn't boring anymore. For me it was boring until They got to the other world. You sorta have to be a person that likes romance and stories of different worlds. I would recommend this book to my friends that like reading stories about Princesses or times not like this. Different worlds that they have to escape. This is a GREAT book but with a unusal ending, that was different.
Rating: Summary: Really Interesting Review: I thought this book was really good. It made me think about how it would be to have powers like they did.
