Rating: Summary: Elizabeth's neurosis Review: I am so intrigued by Liz's views on sex that I can't stop reading these books. Since the breakup with Todd at the beginning of the series (when she was being sensible and "waiting") she has become more and more neurotic. Not only will she not have sex with Tom, she doesn't want anyone else to either, even if he's available by being broken up with her. She claims she's not ready one minute and then goes on and on about the levels of trust and security and intimacy they have together, and how hard it is to "stop" sometimes. In other books she gets bored with him (so bored, recently, that she fell for William White the Undead and Unkillable again) but it never seems to occur to her that there may be one big reason she feels they are stagnating. What exactly IS Liz's definition of ready? Has anyone worked it out? I actually don't want her to have sex now, because I'm enjoying the mental acrobatics she performs to justify the most bizarre hesitations she has.
Rating: Summary: Very intesting and very sad! Review: I say interesting because of the Elizabeth and Tom storyline. I say sad because of the Jessica and Nick storyline. Oh, and because of the Isabella and Danny storyline, too. This book is actually a little old in terms of the fact that it is now 2001 and we are currently in the 60's in the SVU books. However, I never reviewed this book, and I especially liked Nick, so I thought that I would. The novel was very hard to put down, and I felt terrible when I realized that Jess was getting worse and worse every day. Liz has evey right to be hurt about what Tom did - and they still haven't hooked back up in the more current books! She's off in London now! (SVU Thriller #18 - Face It) Anyway, I hope that someday they get back together. Tom did a horrible thing, but he really loves her, and if she feels the same way, he deserves her forgiveness. One question to pose - does anyone out there, as of January 2001, still kind of miss Nick in the series? I mean, usually when Francine gets rid of a character or they die, I feel really bad, but I'm over in by 20 books later! Nick, though, I kinda miss. I just thought that he made the story interesting and helped along the plot. Plus, he was perfect for Jessica in every way I can think of. Anyone agree? Oh, and don't you wonder where Isabella Ricci is? Yes, I know - Switzerland is where has moved (as of book #47) Her parents wanted her to have better doctors. But I just wonder - how's Danny and does Izzy have her memory back yet? And if she remembers, will she come back? I wonder, too, how they would get Nick back into Sweet Valley. He'd probably have to capture Nelson Karl (remember - the felon and associate of Clay DiPalma) and also capture some of his other associates and get them into jail. With their association crumbled, then Nick'd be more safe. Remember when Nick sneezed in the interagation room behind the two-way mirror? Well, that was when DiPalma was going to tell Graham Stevens about Karl. I wish he had been able to do so . . . then maybe Nick would be in the series right now - does anyone feel this way?
Rating: Summary: sad AND heartbreaking Review: i thought that this book was quite sad. Nick fox dying and all and leaving jessica behind, but it was jessicas falt her going and flirting with Clay Diploma caused Nick to die. I really hope dana and todd end up as a couple cause they are reall great together. i also hope tom and elizabeth get back together cause it's so sad not seeing them together (but i would have prefared elizabeth and todd). i am also sad about danny and isabella, why did Isabella have to smoke with Clay Diploma and fall off the balcony and lose her memory
Rating: Summary: Sad book Review: It was really very sad to know the death of Nick. It's alsoteasing regarding Liz-Tom thing. How come she broke with him like that? .I think that she sometimes exaggerate . Tom slept with Dana coz Liz and him were broken and he was especially angry with her ,so what does she expect from him ? I think they are the perfect couple ,so they should forgot the past....my opinion!
Rating: Summary: Its so tragic! Elizabeth and Tom...Jessica and Nick... Review: It was so sad at the end when Nick was shot in the courtroom in "Love Me Always"! Anyone ever notice that whenever Jessica falls deeply in love with someone that tragedy isn't always far behind? I think Elizabeth should forget all about Tom because if he still loved her he wouldn't have slept with Dana. Atleast he was honest. Jessica has always been the twin with more romantic disasters compared to Elizabeth. I think Nick might be coming back in the future if he catches Nelson Karl. I hope they get together! They belonged together! When the characters find true love can't they stay together for atleast 3 books without one of them dying! At least Liz had enough sense to break up with Tommy-boy. I hope Tom gets a life.

Rating: Summary: What a sad story.... Review: Jessica has turned into a completely different person! So unlike her usual self!I feel so sorry for her.....Nick and her belong together,so why does fate seperate them?I really hope that Nick would be alive again....I do not like the way Tom treated Dana,Tom is wrong to have sex with Dana in the first place! So why should he put all the blame on Dana?I would like Todd and Liz together, not Dana and him....although I don't know why I think this way...
Rating: Summary: tragic Review: Ok this book is about how Jessica Wakefield deals with the deaht of her boyfriend Nick Fox. The reason I gave this book 2 stars is cuz I really I mean REALLY liked Nick. He was so sweet! I mean since the beginning of this series he's probabaly the only guy who really loved Jessica. Honestly I think the author realized that Jessica wasn't supposed to have a bfriend 4 tooo long so they killed the poor guy. Another reason why I didnot like this book was bcuz of Liz . I hate her. I've hated her since the very 1st Sweet Valley book.
Rating: Summary: An OK book.... Review: Well sheesh! Laurie John is always picking on Jess. I mean, in the beginning of SVU books, Jess gets married to Mike McAllery, then her heart breaks when their marriage gets annulled. Next, James Montgomery almost rapes her. She hooks up with Randy Mason, then they break up. Afterwards, she and Louis Miles fall in love, only Jess's heart breaks when he dies. In the Summer books, when she can't have Ryan Taylor @ first, she and Ben fall in love, but next summer Ben has a new girl. Excuse me, but Laurie John keeps picking on Jess, having her boyfriends die/break up. Jess's heart has been broked at least 7 times. Get a life and pick on Liz, it's so not fair Liz always gets boyfriends for such a long time.
Rating: Summary: I can't believe this! Review: When is Elizabeth going to stop this "I'm Smart Because I'm A Virgin And I'm Waiting" slogan that she's attached to herself and has made her impossibly boring? When is Elizabeth going to face up to the fact that the only person at fault is herself? That Tom didn't betray her by sleeping with Dana? That this "Men Are Pigs" campaign is a waste of time and energy? She can't possibly think that she knows more about the subject than someone who's actually "done it" Sometimes she's so self-righteous it makes me want to scream. I guess she has to conceal her mad jealousy somehow.
