Rating: Summary: TuRn Of ThE cEnTuRy HaPPiLy EvEr AfTeR Review: Ashely Ella Toral is your typical teenage girl. She has two best friends, a stepmom and two annoying little step sisters. At the brink of the 21st century, Ashley is invited to the most important party of her life thrown by the five most popular kids in school (including the love of her life), only to find that her stepmom, Phyllis, is going out with her 80 year old, afraid to fly, grandmother! She has to babysit her bratty, soap opera addicted twin stepsisteres! Ashley is determined to get to the party for her Prince Charming at the turn of the century, but cant get rid of the "devil twins." Cinderella 2000 is a wonderful fairy tale with a modern twist. As I read the book, I felt like I was in Ashley's shoes--like I was fighting with her stepmom and little sisters. The balance of narration and dialouge made the book an easy to read, quick page turner. It was a breeze to finish, but captivating at the same time. Cinderella 2000 is a funny, heartwarming book. I would recommend the book to anyone who loves a good fairy tale, with a good happily ever after.
Rating: Summary: Cinerella 2000 emmas review Review: Cinderella by Mavis Jukes is a great book. It is a modern day Cinderella. It is about this girl Ashley Ella Toral, who is 14 and is going though the same problems as a girl at that age but also had to deal with being an orphan. She has to live with her mean stepmother who hates her and to younger twin stepsisters who invade her space reads her diary and more. Phyllis Ashley's stepmother has no clue how to be a parent at all either. Trevor the boy Ashley has a huge crush on asked her to go to a dance with him. The only thing that is wrong with it is she might have to baby-sit the braty unbearable twins! This is a great book for girls 7-10 and I would highly recommend it to girls who like the storey of Cinderella.

Rating: Summary: cinderella 2000 Review: i liked this book because it show's how every girl dreams about being the bell of the ball. and i like how you love the grandmother for telling everyone off.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I really like this book because it was a modern day longer version of one of my favorite fairy tales. I love it when my mom used to read me clasic fairy tales and I read a version of my time. I loved this book and I hope you will too
Rating: Summary: "a fairytail with a twist!" Review: I really liked this book a lot, it was a really good modern day cinderella. I just couldn't put it down, i borowed my friends and wouldn't give it back untill i finished! (she wasn't too thrilled about this seeing as though she hadn't finished the book!)i especially liked how the fairy godmother was ... and how much she cared for "cinderella" i really like the book and i would recomend it to anyone who loves fairy tails with a twist!
Rating: Summary: A Definite "Can't Put it Down" Book Review: I recieved this book for Christmas and I was very excited to get it. As soon as I could, I shut myself away in my room and began it. Despite several interruptions, I couldn't put it down. Although I am a thirteen year old girl, my favorite fairy tale has always been Cinderella and I enjoyed the modern twist Mavis Jukes put on it. If you have a daughter or just enjoy classic fairy tales, this is one to read, especially if you're open for new versions.
Rating: Summary: Nice Job! Review: If your thinkin'this fairy tales been done. Not this way. It's not really like the fairy tale, I barrowed it from the library. I read it in one night, it is a great read, even though the step-mom and the evil step-sisters were a royal pain. This book is very enjoyable and the author hit a stroke of genuise.
Rating: Summary: Okay...but not the best. Review: This book is about a girl named Ashley who is a supposed orfan(or so she thinks)Basically Ashley wants to go to this snobby contry club to celebrate New Year's 2000 celebration. But her stepmother Phyllis won't let her go because Phyllis's grandmother is flying in from flordia.I have a few things to say about this book.First of all ashley acts like a BRAT!!!! all through the book.Second she is always mean to the twins(though I can understand the phone)Third Ashley acts like her friends don't matter to her. I think she is just a big BRAT! This book was okay but nt as good as the origanal cinderella.
Rating: Summary: BEST BOOK Review: This book is about a girl who is treated a bit like the fairy tale cinderlla. Because of her little twin stepsisters her life is pretty bad.ANd her stepmother Phyillis is annoying and embarrasing. Does her "fairy godmother" come to her rescue? Find out in this great book!
