Ater school was over Jake caught up with Dawn he asked her if she wanted a ride home, she said no, because she had to leave somewhere, but she really didn't she had an appointment to go to with Katie her nurse that helps her with things if she needs help?Dawn woke up one morning her throat was swollen and she had a rash on her arms, she went to the doctor and he said she might have cancer again, so Dawn had so back to the hospital and the doctor said she will have to stay for another year or two?
Rating: Summary: No Time To Cry Review: No Time To Cry by Lurlene McDaniel is about a girl with cancer. The book talks about the struggles that people(teens in particular) go through when they have cancer. It is a very realistic book and a tear jerker. I recomend this book for people 6th grade and older. Also if you like this book, you will most likely like the other books by Lurlene McDaniel Because they are similar.
Rating: Summary: No Time 2 Cry Review: Out of all of the Dawn Rochelle novels, I liked this one the least. But it is still a good book. After all all that Dawns been through, she wants nothing, but to be a normal teenager. An ordinary high school student. She wants to worry about getting her drivers liscene (I know, I cant spell) going to dances, going to the mall, and getting her crush since the 7th grade who just moved back, Jake Macka, to notice her; not if shes going to stay in remission, or the memory box she is asked to do in Marlees honor. She wants nothing to do with her past. But soon, she has to be put in the hospital because he finds little bumps on her forhead after she takes a shower one night. Is her bone marrow transplant rejecting? Read the mook to find out.
Rating: Summary: Touched By Faith and Hope Review: The Dawn Rochelle Novels are so breath-taking. The first time I read them I was so surprized that a book could not only show people about what really people facing these problems go through but lets you feel it too. It teaches you that you don't need to be afraid of the things that take life away. That you shouldn't feel singled out and feel hated because bad things happen to you, cause it can happen to anyone. I really recommend the Dawn Rochelle Novels because no other book can make you feel how the person feels as if you were them.
Rating: Summary: Wounderful Book ! Review: This was a Wounderful book. It shows how hard it would be to go through cancer and life after cancer . After reading this book Lurlene McDaniel Has became one of my favorite authors
Rating: Summary: Memories Review: This, being the forth book in the Dawn Rochelle series, has a lot to do with something we can all relate to: memories. Through out this whole book, Dawn is facing nightmares of memories coming back to haunt her. She is faced with remembering Sandy and Marlee, as well as her own times in the hospital. This is very hard on Dawn, seeing as she's trying to get on with a normal life without cancer. This life is interupted by a rash that sends Dawn into a panic about weither or not Rob's marrow is working in her or if it's failing. This book will make you think that every horrible memory in your mind, really isn't anything compared to what some people go through.
Rating: Summary: Tearjerker Review: You're going down thwe wrong lane if you think 'no no' for this book. Trust me I almost put it down in the bookstore but I was tempted to buy, good thing I did. Dawn Rochelle is more livelier than ever in this book. I give it five stars.
