Summary: Very Suspensful. Best book I have read.
Review: Although I don't read many books, probably have only read like 10 in my life, I would definitely say this is the best and most suspensful book I have read. It was full of suspense and action from beginning to end. It kept me reading it. I would definitely recommend for all of you to read this whether you're 9 or 90. This is, by far, the best book I have ever read in my life and would definitely recommend it for anyone who likes suspense and action.

Summary: Captures young readers, but asks one to accept too much.
Review: Death Walk is a title which captures the interest of young readers. Joel (Joe) is left alone in the Alaska wilderness and must rely on Mike Donovan to teach him how not only to survive, but to face the life from which Joe is running away. Joe is forced to save his own life while being pursued by the evil Hank and the half-wit Emmett.

The action and the situation captive the inexperienced reader and appeals to basic Romantic notions. For anyone beyond this level, the book asks for the reader to accept far too much in the opening premise and in the actions of Joe. It is a young boy's fantasy, but not believable as a story.

Summary: This book was an action pack thriller with many twist.
Review: Death Walk was a great book. There was action from cover tocover. The book grabs the reader's attention at the begining and runs from there. I could not stop reading from the time that I opened it. At times it seems like there is no way out for Jo and Mike. From the time where they were traped in the calve with no way out to Jo lost in the middle of a snow storm. Jo has more heart than anyone that I have ever met. Some of the things that he went though I would not have enough determination to attempt. He also over came many of his fears that helped him in the long run. Blacky and Fawn are wolves that come into play in manysituations. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a easy, instersting book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Any ages from 12 and up can read this book. Everything follows smooth and is easy to keep up with. I enjoyed reading this book and suggest that you give it a shot too.

Summary: An adventure of danger and courage set in Alaska.
Review: Hoping to get away from his father for a day, 17 year-old Joel Rogers steals aboard a friend's plane carrying supplies to the Alaskan frontier. Joel awakens, after the plane crashes, to a gaze of a pair of Alaskan wolves. Mike Donovan, a trapper, rescues the injured boy and develops a friendship with Joel. But a disaster threatens the two men and soon they are running for their lives from two fugitives who are killing trappers and stealing furs. This exciting murder mystery, set in the vivid Alaskan wilderness, is an enjoyable novel for both mature young adult and adult readers.
