Rating: Summary: Emergency Room Review: I got really into the book anticipating the next event and who would die and who would survive. But sometimes the book dealt with issues outside the er like one girl's struggle with being a teenage mom of twins. It gave the book more characters but sometimes it was really deep and I wished the author had concentrated more on the two volunteers instead of adding more characters to the story. At the end of the book I was left wishing I'd known more about just the two volunteers. It wasn't my favorite of her books, but I guess I suggest you try it.
Rating: Summary: GREAT-FABULOUS!!! Review: I highly reccamend this book! I've always wanted to become a sergeon in Trauma and so this is the perfect book for me... It has many different point of views and each one is interesting. Sometimes gunshot wounds are being brung in, or a shortage of breath. This book is non-stop TRAUMA! PLEASE BUY AND READ!
Rating: Summary: Filled with suspense and action. Review: I like this book a lot because it gives you an idea of what the ER is really like. If you like medical things then I think that this book would intrest you. There were a few things that I didn't like and that was how it was so jumpy. It can get confusing at times because they jump from past to present frequently. It also doesn't follow up on the condition of the patients which is very frustrating but if you have a good imagination, then this is for you. Overall, a very well written book.
Rating: Summary: Suspensful!!!! Review: I loved the book and how it kept me on the edge of my seat everytime I read it. It was like a movie playing inside my head! I could never put the book down even after I was done reading it. I even went back to read parts over again. I recomend the book to all teens and even adults! Have fun reading!
Rating: Summary: I ABSOTIVELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Review: I LOVED THIS BOOK A LOT BECAUSE I HAVE WANTED TO BECOME A DOCTOR EVER SINCE I CAN REMEMBER AND THIS BOOK MADE ME WANT TO BECOME ONE EVEN MORE. I NOW WANT TO VOLENTEER IN A HOSPITAL, THOUGH I CAN'T DO IT UNTIL I'M OLDER. THIS BOOK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES, AND CAROLINE B. COONEY IS MY FAVORITE AUTHOR. I HAVE READ ALMOST EVERY ONE OF HER BOOKS, AND I HOPE SHE KEEPS WRITING MORE.
Rating: Summary: Excellent book!!!!!!!!! Review: I read this book a few months ago and was attached to it. I finished it in less then a week. The book gives an inside look to what really happens inside an ER, and it gives many different points of view, 2 volunteers and I think 3 patients. It's a very interesting book by the one and only Caroline B. Cooney. It's good for anyone wishing to pursue a career in EMS!!!
Rating: Summary: A Wicked Read Review: I read this book twice and I could not put it down. It shows what life is like in an emergency room. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read
Rating: Summary: twice is nice Review: i read this book twice. i enjoyed reading it both times. i read it when i was in 6th garde (presently in 8th), so i don't remember sll of its details, but a few of the patients' stories will stick with ya. the staff of this er will also stay fresh with u. it has a lot of action to it. it is quite interesting by the way it is written. it gives u an overall view of the opinions of all who r involved in the ER. you have like several main character groups from different economic, race, sex, etc. backgrounds. and u get what they c and go through as the story goes on. it is very good.
Rating: Summary: A whole bunch of ER episodes in one book Review: I read this one in the 4th grade and it was first mature novel, as well as my first favorite book. I still read it now (at age 14) and love it again. Now I want to be a candystriper!! It's from different perspectives and a few stories go on at once, but it all comes together. So if you like anything in the medical field, General Hospital, action, etc. you'll love this book.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books I've ever read Review: I would have to say that Caroline B. Cooney is one of my favorite authors. i wiz through her books. Emergency Room was one of the best books I have ever read, and I've read a lot of books. If you have the means I highly recomend picking one up!!!!!! Exellent, Magnifisent, Terrific
