Summary: Non-Stop Adrenalin Rush!
Review: ...
It's 4 p.m. and many people are packing up and ready to go home, but not Seth and Diana. Their volunteer shift at the city's busiest hospital has just begun. If you are a fan of the hit television show E.R. than this book is for you. Caroline B. Cooney has done it
again with this adrenalin pumping book on the life of an emergency room volunteer and the tragic lesson of life and death in the E.R.. From the beginning you know who can't put this book, well, at least I knew.

Alec is admiring his cousin's new Harley-Davidson when he decides to go for a test ride. When Alec does not return with the time he was supposed to be home, his cousin gets worried and just before he goes to call Alec's cell phone he notices the one and only helmet sitting next to were the bike stood. This is just one of the scenarios Seth and Diana have to face in their daily job as volunteers at the city's emergency room.

Caroline B. Cooney as written many books including, Flight Number 116 is down and The Fire. This book, along with her other books deserve a five-star rating, this one for the suspense, the laughs, and the true facts of life.

Summary: Interesting ER Fiction
Review: Eighteen-year-old City Hospital volunteers Seth and Diana have dreams of being emergency room doctors. Helping people who are hurt, and need someone to mend them. But first they have to get through a night of emergencies that will change their lives forever as they know it. At 6:00pm, Seth and Diana show up at City Hospital, eager for their one chance to save lives. By 6:30pm, an eighteen-year-old female named Jersey has arrived, complete with a gunshot wound, the victim of a drug battle. At 7:00pm a seventeen-year-old boy named Alec arrives, brought in after a grisly motorcycle accident, in which he was wearing no helmet. By 8:30pm, Seth is saving the life of a baby. All this and more happens daily at City Hospital, but volunteers Seth and Diana only get to experience the excitement once a week.

Having been on a huge ER reading kick lately, I was absolutely ecstatic to find that famed author Caroline B. Cooney had written a book entitled EMERGENCY ROOM. From page one, EMERGENCY ROOM takes you on an exhilirating adventure that you will never forget. From gunshot wounds, to accidents, and more, EMERGENCY ROOM delivers it all. Fans of ER fiction, whether for teens or adults will relish in Cooney's EMERGENCY ROOM, and find themselves begging to read more about Seth and Diana's adventures. Sadly, there are no more as of yet, but we can keep our fingers crossed. An absolute must-have! Don't miss EMERGENCY ROOM.

Summary: Emergency Room a review by Matt
Review: Emergency Room

''As the minutes rush past, Diana and Seth struggle to save lives in a downtown city hospital late at night.'' Experience gunshot wounds, drug battles, and more as two volunteer doctors rush to keep every heartbeat intact. This thrilling book by Caroline B. Cooney called Emergency Room is one you'll never forget.
At 6:38 P.M. Jersey, an 18-year-old teen that was part of a drug battle is driven away with a gunshot wound. She was just walking along the sidewalk and didn't even expect that her own friends would go against her. She lost much blood and may not live too much longer. In the emergency room, doctors must have patience and donate blood in order for poor Jersey to live longer.
Then, at 7:16, a spectacular crash brought Alec, who was driving his motorcycle, to an operating stage where he is striving to live at only age 17. He was riding on the interstate, not knowing even how to drive a car, but daring to drive a motorcycle. The emergency room staff had to hook a vacuum like machine to Alec's mouth to get all the stones and grit out of his teeth! He may not even be able to talk ever again because of all of his broken teeth.
All of a sudden, a druggie broke in the waiting room at 8:27, and stole an innocent patient's offspring and the chase is on to catch the criminal and save the baby before it is too late. Seth, who has not been talked about too much is now face to face with the criminal and is able to stall him from getting away too fast. The police strive to catch the criminal. Do you think they will catch him? Or will Seth and Diana get him?
To find out what happens to our protagonists, and what happens to Alec, Jersey and others, you will have to read Emergency Room. Will Jersey live after being shot? Will Alec ever be able to drive again? Plus, will the cops, or Diana and Seth catch the criminal and save the baby? To find out, you'll have to read this edge of your seat book..
