Summary: Great Second Book
Review: Rae is starting to get used to her power to read fingerprints. She is still worried about the person out to kill her but is trying to live a normal life. Things go great until Jesse is kidnapped. Rae and Anthony are told he ran away, but they don't believe it. They think his dad might have done it, so they go on a road trip to try and find out. One question keeps running through Rae's head. Are we going to find him in time?

Summary: #2, Haunted (a very good read)
Review: Rae Voight can pick up thoughts, just by touching other people's fingerprints. But when her power first manifested itself, Rae went a bit bonkers in her school caf. She was sent to a mental hospital for a few months. Now she knows (with a little help from Anthony), that she is, in fact, not crazy, but gifted. But there are evil forces at work who want to destroy Rae. Before she can even start to figure some things out, it's announced in therapy that Jesse Bevens has "run away". But Anthony knows the boy well enough to know better. Rae discovers that Jesse was kidnapped by the mystery person who is trying to murder her. Rae must use her power to find out who took Jesse and why do they want to get her?

I loved how Rae helps Anthony with his reading disorder. It's like, in return for him helping Rae with her power, she returns the favor. You can tell they will become great friends. I'm reminded of a U2 lyric "It's no secret that a friend/Is someone who lets you help". Even I found, that it enlightened me on the condition known as dyslexia and reassured me that these problems with reading and studying can be helped--not by Ritalin or psychiatric drugs--but by other methods.

Summary: Hidden In The Shadow's
Review: Rae Voight is just barely starting to come to terms with her new powers - the powers that let her "hear" other people's thoughts when she touches her fingerprints to theirs. Rae is still a little weirded out over the whole thing and hasn't even told Yana, the only girlfriend she has left whom she met in Fair Haven, while she was recovering from her mental breakdown the previous summer. Of course, Anthony knows because he was the one who figured it out, but Rae knows that most people will think she is a freak. She tries to forget that there is someone out there who wants her dead, but it never seems to be far from her mind.

Anthony comes to Rae for help when he finds out that Jesse, one of the kids he met in group who is like a brother to him, is missing. Anthony knows that he wouldn't have run away, but he has no idea where to look for him. Rae agrees to try and "read" the fingerprints at Jesse's house and before she knows it, Anthony, Rae and Yana are off on a madcap adventure to New Orleans to try and find Jesse's dad. Too bad that the whole trip was a bust because Jesse's dad hasn't seen him for years and years. Whats even worse is that Rae discovers that Jesse was only kidnapped to hurt her. Someone is playing games with her and the prize is Jesse's life...

This is the second book in the Fingerprints series and it starts almost right after the first one ends. It was interesting to see Rae start to see her powers as a gift instead of a curse and to see how she would choose to use them. We also got to see more of Anthony and what a great guy he is, even if he is a slow learner and is always beating up on himself. All of the characters in this series are great and the reader will feel like they know them when they are done reading. I highly recommend reading the first book in the series, Fingerprints: Gifted Touch, first though. Also, this book has another cliffhanger ending with the reader still being clueless as to who wants Rae dead and why so I would have the next book in the series handy...

Summary: The thrilling second book in the Fingerprints series.
Review: Rae Voight is still trying to deal with the weirdness of being able to read other people's thoughts by touching their fingerprints - and trying to deal with the very real fact that someone has tried to kill her and may do so again. When Jesse, a kid from her therapy group, disappears, Rae is worried - and so is Anthony, who knows Jesse would never run away. So Rae and Anthony team up to try and find Jesse, with the help of Rae's friend Yana and Rae's amazing - and unwanted - ability. But someone is lurking in the shadows - determined to push Rae to the breaking point, someone who has snatched Jesse to get at her, someone with a twisted scheme of revenge - all because of the horrifying events sixteen years ago that tore Rae's mother away from her forever. This was a thrilling continuation of the Fingerprints series, although I thought book #1 was a bit better.

Summary: A hidden enemy...
Review: Rae Voigt is still trying to be normal after all the recent events that has been happening to her. It was Anthony who had helped her discover her ability, her ability to read fingerprints and feel the thoughts of the person who left them behind. And she knew that ever since she discovered her extraordinary ability, someone is after her -- someone that she feels wants her dead. But now her friend Jesse has disappeared. She doesn't know where to find him, or if he'll ever turn up. The

answers she discovers will lead her to a much darker, twisted scheme -- but the enemy who hunts her down just won't give up until Rae is done with. Fingerprints #2: Haunted, although very suspenseful, was not as good as the first book in this amazing new series, but I enjoyed it very much. The Fingerprints series continues with this page turning read by Melinda Metz.

Summary: Gettin Better..............................
Review: This book is by far the best book out of the 2. In this book Jesse is kidnapped, and Anthony and Ray plan to New Orleans to talk to is father who they believe kidnapped him. But Yana ends up going w/ them because she convinced he Rae's dad to let her go to New Orleans w/ her (I wanna know how she does that). So the book is basically about them trying to find Jesse. Read to find out what happens.

Summary: Haunted Fingerprints 2 GREAT BOOK
Review: This was a great fast read. I enjoyed this edge of the seat thriller a lot. Rae is finally getting the swing of things, with Anthoneys help. If you liked the first book, you will love this one. And the third one is even better...
