Summary: Second Book in the Fingerprints Series
Review: After nearly being killed in "Gifted Touch" (#1), Rae Voight now seems to have another unidentified enemy, one that abducts her 13-year-old friend, Jesse Beven. Everyone else believes he ran away--including his mother--, but Rae and her friend, Anthony Fascinelli, seriously doubt he's run away, especially not after the psychic clues Rae picks up while reading other people's fingerprints. These clues take Rae, Anthony, and Yana Savari (another one of Rae's pals) on an overnight trip to New Orleans, Louisiana, where they hope to find Jesse's abusive, estranged father, the man they believe may have stolen Jesse. However, when their lead doesn't produce Jesse, the threesome is forced to start over, this time interviewing new witnesses with conflicting memories of what happened to Jesse that day. Among the five stories that are given, which one can Rae rely on? Because this time it's not just her own life at stake--Jesse might die if she doesn't find him in time.

"Haunted" is the first book I've read so far in this series. I was quite impressed with this book and hope the others are just as good. Fingerprints is definitely a not-to-be-missed series if you like paranormal teen thrillers.

Summary: FINGERPRINTS!
Review: I didn't like the first book in the fingerprints series that well, but now that I've read #2 I'm completely in love with it, the whole story line is so great and I finished the entire series in a week, I've never read this much, like ever!

Summary: Fingerprints 2
Review: I read this book in 2 days because it was so exciting. Let me let you know, you have to read the first one to understand this one well. It was a great book that hooks you onto it. It's about this book named Rae that can read people's thoughts by touching their fingerprint. By doing this she finds out their is someone trying to kill her. Read this book...its the one of the best series out their.

Summary: Haunted
Review: In Haunted Jesse gets kidnapped except everyone thinks that he's run away. But Anthony knows better than that because Jesse would never leave without telling him. Together Anthony and Rae search for clues as to where he was kidnapped. You find out that the evil person behind all this has a special power too. The whole book is full of Anthony, Rae, and Yana(Rae's friend) going on a wild goose chase searching for Jesse. It may be a wild goose chase but you learn a lot about each character more. This book was really good even though the first one was better. I would recommend this to anyone. I can't wait till Trust Me comes out in June.

Summary: Rae's powers are put to the test
Review: Just when Rae's getting used to her fingerprint reading novel, her powers are put to the test when Jesse goes missing her powers are put to the test. Anthony knows he wouldn't run away without telling him so he's convinced that he much have gotton snatched. Using Rae's ability to read fingerprints as there guide Rae, Anthony, and Yana set out to find Jesse. But as they look furthur they realise that the person that wants Rae dead might be involved.

This book was suspenseful and just as good as the last. It was exciting and a real mystery. Rae's a great charecter and the chemistry between Anthony and her is beyond obvious. I wish they would get together. If you like suspenseful books this one is for you. I highly reccomend it.

Summary: Hidden In The Shadow's
Review: Melinda Metz takes Haunted to a new level with its suspense thriller. It's about a girl that gets framed and is sent to the nuthouse and later is released to go back to a prep school. She has a gift to read minds with a touch of her fingertips. The book gives good detail and drama. It tells a story about a girl trying to become normal again. I liked the book because it gives details, suspense, and you cant put it down till you finish it.

Summary: Continuing as it began ...
Review: Metz has continued her strong beginning with this second book in the Fingerprints series. Rae is starting to really develope the nack for using her ability. She still hides it from most of her friends and her father - but she is making real leaps ahead with her ability to sift through the thoughts of others. This book follows events as the person who is watching Rae conducts an experiment to try and figure out exactly what Rae's ability is. I have to admit that this secret enemy idea is great, but if it continues through too many of the other books then it could get really anoying. If you like this series you could try reading the Extreme Zone books by M.C. Sumner.

Summary: Second Book Won't Let Down
Review: OK, so now that you've read Fingerprints #1-Gifted Touch, go to the bookstore, buy book #2, read it. It's just as good as the first. Rae Voight is just getting used to her powers. Now how do you make a series about a girls who can read fingerprints more suspenseful than that? Add two people that are trying to kill her. Only Rae thinks that there is only one. And the one who kidnaps Rae's friends Jesse is not the same one that sets up a pipe bomb in the girl's bathroom as the reader will learn, but Rae doesn't. Rae has to find Jesse before it's too late, but Rae may be in more danger than she knows. This book gets an A+, and by the way, I didn't even read any mysteries before I read this series.

Summary: Book 2, Haunted
Review: Rae finally knows that she's not crazy. She knows now that she is a fingerprint reader, and she has Anthony to thank for that. She also knows that someone wants her dead, and even planted a pipe bomb in the bathroom in the building that she goes to to kill her.

But when Jesse, a 13-yr-old boy, from Rae's therapy group is missing, everyone thinks that he ran away, well, everyone except for Anthony. Anthony knows that Jesse would never go anywhere without telling him, and knows that he was kidnapped. Now Rae knows that she and Anthony are the only ones who can find Jesse.

Jesse's mother thinks that his father has something to do with Jesse's disappearance, so Rae and Anthony plan a trip to New Orleanes to investigate. But when they find Jesse's father, and Rae does a fingerprint "sweep", it proves that his father had nothing to do with his disappearence.

After a long search, and Jesse is finally found, Rae finds out that Jesse was kidnapped by the person who tried to kill her, to get to her. Will Rae ever find out who it is?
