Rating: Summary: What is happening to the twins? Review: I want to know what is going on. It's almost like Jessica and Elizabeth's roles have reversed. First of all, Jessica needs to shape up and show Melissa Fox that SVH is her school. That witch needs to realize that it is Will's fault that he cheated on her and back down on Jessica. I want the old Jessica back! Second, Elizabeth is turning into a boy-crazy airhead! She needs to stop slobbering over Conner, and realize that he is totally wrong for her, and not worthy of her attention. I can't believe she's cutting meetings to go shopping! That's an old Jessica move all the way. Lastly, I want some of the old characters back! Ken is hardly in these stories, and Winston is never even mentioned! Did these people just go up in smoke? You can't have characters in the SVH stories, then suddenly forget about them! Ignoring all those complaints, this was a decent book. Seriously, though? I like the old SVH stories better. SVH Senior books are great for people who like soap-opera-like plots, love triangles, all that. Personally, I though it was ok. Not one of the best books I've ever read, though.
Rating: Summary: Great... Review: I've truly enjoyed all of the 4 new svh senior year books. They're a vast improvment from Sweet Valley High. All the people who commented on missing the old characters, if they like the old characters read SVH, I had actually given up on Sweet Valley untill these books came along and I think the new characters are a great breath of fresh air. Jessica's new personality did bewilder me, but its a new year, different people, and I can see how this vast change could happen to someone. She better toughen up somtime, though! I count the days untill #5 comes out!
Rating: Summary: Great Book... Review: If you read Can't Stay Away (SVH Senior Year #1) then this book is a must-have. The whole Conner-Elizabeth saga continues with Maria, Elizabeth's best friend, added into the mix. Jessica pays the price for her relationship with Will. Will anybody really believe the rumors flying around with her? Will her friends stick by her when she needs them most? And will Liz ever get over Conner? If you want to know the answers to these questions, plus more, then you've definitely got to read Say It To My Face. I really loved it, and I hope you will too. Hope I've helped. C ya!!

Rating: Summary: Not bad Review: It was pretty good, the senior high series is a lot better than sweet valley high. Sweet valley high was starting to get boring. Anyway, in my opinion, this book wasn't as good as the first, and I don't understand why suddenly nearly all of Jessica's old friends can't stick up for her.
Rating: Summary: Poor Jess! Review: Melissa is spreading rumors about Jessica ever since Melissa's boyfriend Will made out with Jess. Jessica is horrified, especially since she hadn't even known at the time that Melissa was going out with Will. She didn't know ANYONE was going out with Will. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is still living with Conner and Megan. She's saddened because Maria, one of her best friends, is going out with Conner. However, Maria has no idea Elizabeth has feelings for Conner--at least, she doesn't know she has THOSE kind of feelings. From Maria's point of view, Liz hates Conner.
Rating: Summary: Elizabeth and Conner- Yes! Jessica, Maria, and Melissa- No! Review: Okay, so far I really like this series, but I have to say I don't like what they're doing with Jessica's character. She never would have stood for something like this in her Junior year. I think she should just show Melissa who's the boss and enough of all this walking wounded stuff. I love what they're doing with Elizabeth's character on the other hand. She is seeming a lot more human. I really want her and Conner to get together, and him with Maria is driving me crazy. A friend and I have decided we hate Maria now. And another thing: Where is Winston? Winston Egbert who has been in the series forever is strangely missing. Otherwise, this book is great.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: Say It To My Face was a disappointment to me. Since when has Jessica never fought back? I wanted Jessica to stand up for herself and get herself some new friends. Also what happened to Ken, Winston, Enid and Todd? This new series hardley ever mentions them and instead it focuses on the new characters, who I find some of them to be boring. I really hope that Sweet Vally High changes back to the way it use to be.
Rating: Summary: say it to my face Review: The senior year series is a lot different from the sweet valley high series, especially in this book. Liz is acting more like a normal person in this series, which is good. In Sweet Valley High, she was too perfect and boring to be believable. I don't like the change in Jess, though. She obviously needed SOME change, in Sweet Valley High she was too superficial and shallow. But she's changed too much. Why is she letting Melissa push her around like that??? But even though I don't like the way Jessica's letting Melissa push her around, it is a great book and it is actually realistic (unlike sweet valley high.) But, best of all, later in the series then the rumors about Jessica fade and she begins to act more like her old self, but not so much that it's not believable. I loved this book!!!!
Rating: Summary: New Series Begins With a Different Mood Review: The series start with a completely different feel, though still very enjoyable reading. I thought the journal entries were a great idea, but I didn't like the added foul language. It tainted the quality of the story. Also, as a previous reviewer stated, Jessica Wakefield has never been meek. I was not expecting her to still be completely carefree, but I did expect her to be confident. Instead, it seems as though she has taken an about-face. Overall, it was a good book but a definitely different Sweet Valley. I think I'll have to wait to read the second book in the series before I close my opinion.
