Rating: Summary: The best mystery of all times! Review: A mystery that you will not be able to put down. It is about a girl, Katie, who's mom wants to write a novel and moves from Houston to Texas. Katies mom is also a reporter for the newspaper. When they are all settled in at Houston, they notice people prowling around their yard at night. They call the police more than once and they are never able to catch the shadowmakers. One night, Katie gets news about her friend who was murdered. Who murdered Lana Jean? Read this to find out.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: I rate this book five stars because of its great mystery. The book is about a daughter and her mom. The mom was a journalist, she was the one who mostly started the mystery. One night Katie ( the daughter) heard some noises coming fom outside, she got out of bed to see who or what it was. If you want to know who or what it was read the book Shadowmaker. The part I like in the book is when Katie heard the noises because I like the temptation of wanting to know what will happen. What I didn't like is the book moved alone to slow.
Rating: Summary: Good, but not her best Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. Although, I kinda forced myself to finish it. It was good, but it was a little obvious. I think that the author did a good job writing this book, but it wasn't her best...not even close.
Rating: Summary: A great book!! Review: I think that this book was great. I love the way that Joan Lowery Nixon writes. I have also read The name of the game was murder, and I loved them both. I would recomend this book to everybody.
Rating: Summary: This is one of best book she has ever written!! Review: I think the way that Joan captured the pain that Katie and her mom went through living in this town was as if she was really living through as if it were her.And how she was able to describe the boys mischief and what they did to torment everyone. And how she put detail into all the murders. Out of all the books she has ever written i think this is the best in detail and in realism.
Rating: Summary: I loved it Review: I thought it was a really good book i tried looking in stores for it but nobody has it.It kept me on the edge of my seat. When you talk about the gate and the rotwiler I got totally freaked cause I have a Rotwiler and a gate around my house.Anyway i would just like to thank you for making a book that actually makes me want to read since I hate to read anything. So thank you for Writing the "Shadowmaker."
Rating: Summary: The scariest book I ever read, it gave me the creeps Review: If you are a person who loves bonechilling mysteries with terror and suspense, you'll really love this book. Once you read one of Joan Lowery Nixon's books, you can't stop. This one in particular was probobly her best. In this book she gives you all the details, all the clues, all the suspects, and a surprising and frightful end. You can not put this book down, any spare time you have is definitely going to be spent reading this book. One word of caution: do not read "Shadowmaker" in bed at night. It's so good and so nerve-racking it made me sleep with the door open and the lights on.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: It was a good book, but it had too much going on in it. It was kind of hard to keep track of what was going on. It is a good book to read, though.
Rating: Summary: An Alright Book Review: It was a good book, but it had too much going on in it. It was kind of hard to keep track of what was going on. It is a good book to read, though.
