Rating: Summary: A wondreful and inspirational book. Review: I personally liked this book a lot. It has great detail where you almost feel like you're there. It makes you want to keep on reading more. The characters are all very unique and different. It is very wonderful how the book shows that eight people could be brought together because of one person and even maybe even stay friends. The book can be related to peoples own problems and lives because everything in the book is quite commom. The book is wonderful and Jenna, Peter, Ben, Melanie, Miguel, Jesse, Leah, and Nicole are very cool to read about. It is sad about Kurt, but it brought all eight people together. The book is great!!!!
Rating: Summary: Relates to today's teenagers Review: I really liked this book and the series is wonderful! I have read all eight books and I'm looking forward to the ninth one (it's not out yet)! The topics relate to today's teen and the characters actually sound like REAL teens. If you're wondering if this book is worth buying, it really IS!!!
Rating: Summary: Good Author Review: I started reading this series because I read an Alias book by Laura Peyton Roberts, A Secret Life, and thought it was one of the best Alias books ever written. Although this doesn't have the exciting adventures Sydney Bristow has, it is right on target for what real teenage life is like. After a while, I got into this book and actually began caring for the characters - Jenna, Jesse, Nicole, Peter, and everyone. What I like most is how it seems close to what my high school friends and I go through. Why this is a 5? I got drawn into the story and now feel compelled to read the other books.
Rating: Summary: I loved the whole Clearwater Crossing series... Review: I unfortunately never got to read book 1, however i did read 2-9 and I think it best to comment on the whole series. The author really portrayed how teens in high school tend to be these days. I find that reading about things that are more my age level is much more interesting because the characters have most of the same views because they are high schoolers. Everytime i finish one of the books i have my mom buy the next 3 for me! The Clearwater Crossing series is great and every teen should give it a try!
Rating: Summary: This book was unbelievably good Review: I was so surprised when I read this book. I thought it would be so fake, but it's not. It's totally real. I love this series
Rating: Summary: Get A Life Review: In "Get A Life" by Laura Peyton Roberts there are eight main characters. They are Jenna Conrad, Melanie Andrews, Jesse Jones, Peter Altmann, Nicole Brewster, Leah Rosenthal, Miguel del Rios, and Ben Pipkin. They all go to Clearwater Crossing Highschool but they couldn't be more different from each other! The reason I gave this book four stars was because this book has to do with real life situations. For example, Melanie Andrews is the only sophmore cheerleader ever at CCHS. She is really popular but she doesn't have a mother. She would trade all her popularity just to have her mother back. This teaches teenagers to be grateful for what they have in life instead of wishing for what they don't have. This book inspires teenagers to reach for the stars even if they have problems. The reason I only gave this book four stars was because the author wrote about every single main character and she told the reader how the characters felt about real life situations except for Ben Pipkin. He is this nerdy looking kid. The author never really talks about how he feels and how his life is. I'm not saying just because he is a nerd that he has a bad life or anything but why doesn't the author say anything about him? Other than that this is an excellent book that every teenager should read. Another thing I would point out would be how one of the main characters close friends die they all come together as friends even though they all are totally different. So that shows that just because you are different from everybody else doesn't mean you can't be friends with everyone.
Rating: Summary: This was totally thrilling Review: My brothers girlfriend was raving about this series she was reading called 'ClearWater Crossing". So my twin bro Andrew and I went and got a few of these. I'm not into these kinda books, but I really recommend them. I'm kinda into the myths, and any kind of sport book!!! But I like these books!!!
Rating: Summary: Get a Life Review: Recently, I read the book Get a Life, by Laura Peyton Roberts. I rated this book a 3 because the author talks about real life problems. She talked about teenage romance and a boy that has cancer. Also, she made the descriptions very detailed. On the bad side, it was too confusing. The author kept switching whom she was talking about. As a result, I didn't know who was who. I recommend for people in middle school or high school to read this book. Also, if you like realistic fiction I recommend that you read this book. I think this age and interest group should read this book because it wouldn't be interesting if you were younger and it talks about teen romance.
Rating: Summary: A Rockin' Good Book Review: The first time I read this book, I was just bored and in need of something to do. After I started, however, I couldn't put it down. Then I had to run out and get the second one. I recommend this book to anyone. No matter what type of book you read this one's for you. It's got adventure, suspense, thrills, cliff-hangers, and best of all everyone can relate to these skits even Junior High kids. Plus, boys and girls, alike, will love Clearwater Crossing.
Rating: Summary: This is a GREAT book! Review: This book is fabulous! My fave book of all. Romance and excitement: it's sort of like a good christian soap!
