Summary: This is a great book. Everyone should read it at least once!
Review: I read this book when I was in 5th or 6th grade and since then I don't think I've read many books that kept me more enthralled and anxious to find out more about the little boy and those hilarious monkeys! Wilson Rawls has created yet another classic!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great!!!!!
Review: Summer of the Monkeys was a great book. I think it was the best book I ever had read. Wilson Rawls wrote the book in a wonderful way that caught my attention. I would highly recommend this book along with Where the Red Fern Grows also by Wilson Rawls.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Written with exellence and perfection
Review: I first picked this book up at the libray and started to read. Within the next few days I was finished.

I loved the charactors. They were s well discribed, I felt I knew them. I felt sad for Jay's sister, even though, I knew it was fiction. I also loved the setting, way back when in the Ozarks.

When I was finished I ran up to the bookstore to get anoter one of his fascinating books, yet I was extremely disapointed to learn he wrote only one other book, which I had already read, and also absolutly loved. So I guess you could say I've read Wilson's entire collection, and loved every bit of it.

Summary: A wonderful book!!!
Review: This is a story about a little farmer boy in the Ozarks. His great adventures takes you to lengths of page full- absorbing stories. He creates humor, and yet with an ending like none that draws tears from your eyes. His characters create a place in your heart for them, and the 11 monkeys bring a smile to your face. Almost every event that happens makes me laugh.I would recommend this book to anyone!

Summary: A must read book for all ages!!!
Review: My teacher first read this book to me as a sixth grader. During one of our monthly auctions she sold to the highest bidder of all.....me! There were groans all around and I was in the midst of it all smiling. I had got my prize. Now as a young adult I still read the book at least once a year. I feel that the book was a good learning experience for me. The book expresed feeling love and a strong family bond, a bond that one would as soon kiil themselves than see one suffer. The book also showe humor. In nineth grade I did a book report on it for HA English and I remember the whole class busting up over a part that I read to them. I think that every family should not loose out on the heart-felt experiences of the four Lee family members(five including Rowdy the Blue-tick hound). Read this book!!!!

Summary: A Must!
Review: My third grade teacher Ms. Kubecka read this book to our class every day after recess, and there were times when we BEGGED her to keep on reading!

This is the first book I remember asking my parents to buy for me, and as a kid (I'm 29 now) I remember every summer from 4th grade through high school reading it again.

I am now enjoying the priviledge of reading it to my wife. I look forward to reading it to my children.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Exciting, fantastic, outrageous!
Review: I liked this book alot. It was funny. I think children 8 and up should read it. This is the best book I have read and kids will love it. There are many laughs and some cries in this book. You will like it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It was sad, but exciting!
Review: I liked when Daisy got her leg fixed. I think kids under eight should not be able to read this book because it is pretty hard. I finished it at age 8 1/2. I rate it a 10 and very exciting with some sad parts.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: No Words to Explain how wonderful and EXCITING!!!!!!
Review: A four-teen year old boy, Jay Berry, and his sidekick, a Blue-Tick Hound, Rowdy, are in lots of monkey trouble from the beggining! It all started when Jay Berry and Rowdy are down in the bottems of the Ozarks searching for thier old cow, when Jay Berry is scared out of his wits by a loud scream, almost like a cat. This is only the first encounter that Jay Berry, and Rowdy will have with the hundred-dollar monkey. What will happen next with Jay Berry Lee, and Rowdy? Why are there Monkeys in the Ozark bottems? Monkeys? is that what the sound really was? Read it and you will find a enjoyable book for the whole family!! Wilson Rawls takes you through a time of laghter, confusion, happiness, saddness, and Love the strong bond that kept the Family together.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Very Best!
Review: Prepare to laugh until you cry! This poignant tale of a boy and his grandfather trying to catch monkeys in the Ozark Hills is absolutely the very best! My only disappointment is that Wilson Rawls, also author of Where the Red Fern Grows, does not write more of these wonderful, inspiring, love-filled tales!
