Summary: It was a sad but very moving book. I thouroughly enjoyed it.
Review: This book is very sad. It's tragic story about a girl, whose family died, touched my heart. I learned how to further appreciate the people in my life. I won't take advantage of their presence because I know it could end anytime.

Summary: SHE CAN WRITE!!!!
Review: After reading The Girl Death Left Behind, I was inspired to always treasure what family I do have because one day, they may not be there anymore. Beth was so greif stricken when her family is killed and she is sent to live with her aunt in Georgia. Her bratty cousin Terri is jealous of her because she has to share evrything of hers for the first in her life. Finally, when the long, torturous road begins to smooth, she and Teri see eye to eye and they make up for lost time wasted on arguments and fights. This book is heartwrenching and inspiring. It shows a young girls capability to overcome great tragedy in her life and move slowly onward.

Summary: WONDERFUL
Review: I thought that this book was excellent. I didn't cry as much in this book as I do in some of Lurlene McDaniel's books. I thought that this book was very life like, A girl coping with her families death, her cousin feeling jealous after she moves in, desperate to make friends, she gets tied up with the wrong crowd, but although she is in a lot of pain she finds a way to help others who are also in need of help no matter what everyone else thinks. I thought that this book was really good and that everyone who has enjoyed one of Lurlene McDaniels books would enjoy this one as well.

Summary: This book teaches life can disappear any second at any age..
Review: Beth Haxton is a normal fourteen year old girl. Her family is the typical American family. They get along well and do everything together. Well, they did until Beth got sick with the flu one day, and had to miss her father's company picnic. While her younger brother and sister go with their parents to the picnic, Beth stays at home to get some rest. Meanwhile, her weird and prissy cousin calls wanting to spend some the summer with Beth and her family. Although Beth and Terri were the same age, they have merely anything in common, so Beth is having confused feelings about the decision. Even on family occasions, they never get along, so could Beth handle a whole summer with th girl? Little did Beth know that a family tragedy would occur, and she would be the one going to visit Terri, instead of her cousin visiting her. She'd have to share Terri's parents, Terri's telephone, and Terri's clothes instead of her best friend Marcie's. Here, this far away from home, is in no way easy for Beth in the first place. Entering a new clique filled school, she doesn't have the easiest time making friends. She undergoes the change from titles as Ms. 8th grade, popular, and well-liked at her old school, to the title at her new school of THE GIRL DEATH LEFT BEHIND....

Summary: The Girl That Death Left Behind- By Lurlene McDaniel
Review: 9-10-99I just read this book. I just finished reading it yesterday. If you buy this book you will not put it down until you are done. It makes you feel like you are in the story. I've read 13 of Lurlene's books all in a row. They are all good. It is a book full of suspense, and most people can relate to what she feels like. Lurlene writes great books. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Summary: She's done it AGAIN!!!!!!
Review: I love this book! She really makes you care about the characters.I normally don't cry a lot when I read books , but I cried for at least twenty minutes , if not more! I feel sorry for Beth , because she got a such a bratty cousin, who after all Beth's grief told Beth that she didn't belong at her house.
