Summary: Diamonds review on Martyn Pig
Review: This book was a good, mysterious book due to its interesting qualities. The way the author had described the characters,it was as if they were real.

This book ia about a boy named martyn Pig whose father was an acholic. Martyn didn't have any friends, but one and her name was Alex.Martyn lived with his father. His mother left them.

In this book, Martyn accidiently kills his father (Martyn hates his father). It all started when Martyn was in the living room watching his favorite detective show. When his father comes in the room all drunk.Martyn gets annoyed at his father. Mr.Pig is blocking the t.v. Martyn gives him a little shove and Mr.Pig looses his balance and falls instantly banging his head against the fireplace and falling with a loud thump.Once it had happened Martyn was not worried one bit, he didn't even panic or anything like that.He was sord of happy about his fathers death. Martyn doesn't do anything about the accidient he doesn't even call the cops. Read on to this exciting book to find out what happens!!!!

Summary: Alicja's Review on Martin Pig
Review: I really like this book. I like this book because I found out a lot of true things that might happen on the earth. Such as kids getting hit by their moms or dads, or the mother leaving the child and the father.I also think that this book has a lot of events which make me feel sorry for Martyn. I would not to be in Martyn's shoes because his father was an alcoholic, he doesn't have a mother, and doesn't have any relative that is raelly nice and would care for him a lot. his dad died because of an accident that happened in his house. Martyn's mom left when he was just a little boy. He did not have a lot of friends and everyone made fun of him. He had a girlfriend that just used him and then left. The girl's name was Alex she took the thirty-thousand dollars and moved somewhereelse. So I would give this book 5 stars.

Summary: Patti Hayes's Review of Martyn Pig
Review: I really like the book. It had descriptive writing that makes it interesting. I like the part when Alex and Martyn bury His father by the quarry. This book will make a really good book report and summary. I like how Martyn says bloody most of the time. It had the English accent that spices up the book. This book makes me feel sad that Martyn's father passed away, but on accident. He pushes his father because he was mad. He knows that Auntie Jean is coming on Christmas Eve. He says that father is very ill and that he needs his rest. Martyn's father is an alcoholic and Martyn doesn't like when his father drinks all the time. He doesn't like his father. I don't blame him. I mean that in a bad way. I wouldn't want a father that is an alcoholic. I feel sorry for him because he has to deal with this issue everyday of his life. Martyn's mother had left the two of them. I think she left because of the father's drinking problem. I really think that Martyn misses his mom.

Summary: This Pig doesn't smell!! :)
Review: I really enjoyed Martyn Pig. I didn't see the big twist coming at the end. That was a big shock to me. I liked how a lot of events happened in each chapter. Most of the book was very exciting. There would be some pages when it would get a little boring. Like when Martyn went down to the beach. One event I thought was funny was when Martyn was at Auntie Jean's house. She would always complain that Martyn's dad was an alcoholic, but she was too. I like when the author described Auntie Jean's effects when she was drunk. He didn't just say that she got dizzy and couldn't walk up the stairs. This book was very easy for me to form a picture in my head. One thing I didn't like about the story was some of the phrases like "bloody". I understood what it meant, but it would of been nice if it was modified for American english.

Summary: Martyn Pig
Review: The story of Martyn Pig was very interesting. Martyn is a regular boy except his father is an abusive drinker. One day when Martyn and his father get into a fight, his father goes to punch Martyn, but Martyn moves outy of the way quickly and gives his father a slight push into the fire place. Almost immediantly Martyn knows that his father had died. I liked reading this part of the story because you never really knew what was going to happen next. i never once knew what was going to happen next, and the ending of this book was a shock, it was totaly unexpected.

Review: The book MaRtYn PiG was a very interesting book!
I thought the book was interesting because, Martyn the 15 year old boy had got into a argument with his father over a little thing, and the father was a alcoholic and hit Martyn but he missed. After that Martyn pushed him a little and he hit his head up against the fireplace and automatically died and did not call the police or any thing. I thought that was interesting because Martyn seemed a little weird not to call the police or anything. If i was him i would of called the police or something but that is what made the book MaRtYn PiG interesting. When Matyn wanted to bury his dad that flipped me out. Well that was my review of MaRtYn pIg!
