Review: A Sudden Silence, by Eve Bunting, is a love story with a criminal background. There are interesting in a, in some scenes, suspensful plot. But in first place it is a love story about the relationship between a girl and a boy, going together through the difficults of their life. The main themes are alcohol consum, loss of a family member and friendship. The book is suitable for reading in class. Much fun !

Review: Good deal Miss Bunting! This book is written quite well. The action is fast, the feelings are real, and the whole story is filled with suspense. I think the book deals quite well with loss, grief and sadness but it is not that exaggerated tragical sort of book like "Gone with the wind". It's real and the ending is pretty much shocking you! I won't tell more. Read It!

Jesse's younger brother ,Bry, was killed by a drunk driver and he is determind to find his killer. Bunting leads you into thinking that Bry's killer was one person, and then it turns out to be someone else. I know that my review won't help you much, but just trust me, read this book. It makes you fell like you are really there!
